I am staying in New Kensington and Gus Franco’s looked intriguing, so I had to pretty much try everything. I called and ordered a carry out, the woman on the phone was so pleasant and kind, took my order down perfectly. Upon arriving to pick up my order, the shop was easy to find and cute and quaint. My order was pretty big, I ordered a peppadoozie but swapped sausage out for meatballs, I also got the special which was loaded potato, the meatballs with ricotta, a small mac salad, small olive salad, small mushroom salad and 6 cookies…once I arrived I added on the last slice of olive cake, a pepperoni roll and a red ribbon cheery soda. The gentlemen in the shop were all friendly and helpful. They gave me paper plates and plastic ware along with crushed red pepper. All of the food was made with the freshest ingredients and the pizzas were both generously covered, the crust was thin and crisp yet still chewy, the flavor combinations were so good together. The meatballs and ricotta, mama Mia, so delicious and a hefty portion. All of the salads were so good, they were bursting with flavor. The cookies were filed with chocolate chips and so buttery and baked perfect crispy edges yet chewy. The red ribbon soda was so filled with cherry flavor. Finally surprisingly the olive cake was a must try, didn’t sound appealing but was so tasty. If you’ve not tried this wonderful lil piece of heaven you must give it a try next time you’re in New Kensington PA.

I always have an amazing experience at Gus Franco’s Pizza. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is absolutely lovely. It has such a welcoming, comfortable feel that makes it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.
The people there are truly some of the best. They are incredibly kind, friendly, and make you feel right at home every time you visit. That level of genuine hospitality really makes the place stand out.
And of course, the pizza is phenomenal. In my opinion, it’s the best pizza in Pittsburgh. The ingredients are always fresh, the crust is perfect, and every slice is packed with flavor. You can really tell they take pride in what they make.

Far trip from the south hills but was worth every bit of the drive. Got a regular cheese and vodka. Both did not disappoint. Meatballs with the whipped ricotta was also fantastic. Staff was extremely friendly. Shop had a great vibe. You can tell they actually care about the food they are putting out. 10 outta 10

Since 2020, our family has been on a quest to find the best pizza in the Pittsburgh area. Two stipulations: Everyone in our family must give two thumbs up and the ranch must be the real deal. We tried Gus Franco’s for the first time tonight. We ordered two cheeses , a Hot Dad, and a pepperoni/sausage/ bacon pizza. Everyone from our baby to the big kids gave 2 thumbs up and the ranch exceeded our expectations. There were no leftovers. The outside seating was enjoyable and peaceful. Staff and service top notch!! Think we found a new #1 spot. Thank you guys for your heart and passion for serving your customers and great food. We will be back soon!

Oh my gosh, you have to try this pizza place! They have one-size pizzas, but they have so many different toppings and choices of pizza styles. I recommend checking out their website before you go. They don’t have any inside seating, but they have tables outside.
I ordered the meatballs and a margarita pizza. It was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! The four meatballs were amazing. They also have pepperoni rolls, sausage rolls, chocolate chip cookies, and other desserts.
The staff is super friendly and the customer service is top-notch. They’re some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, even though they run a pizza shop there is, they don’t let it go to their head They’re really funny and the customer service is 5 star .I’d say this is without a doubt a five-star pizzeria. The service you’ll receive is way better than any other pizza shop you’ve been to.

Gus Franco’s is firing up some exquisitely dope pizza, and you truly need to get onboard. If you want fresh, mouthwatering pizza, made with mostly local ingredients, this is your destination. Oak fired in an imported oven and cooked to perfection, their pizza will send you on a trip to flavor-land. Try their Vodka Sauce Margherita with house made vodka sauce, or the Cacio E Pepe if you’re in the mood for a white style pie. It’s all exceptional. Aside from pizza, you need to grab ahold of their wood fired meatballs, and don’t skip on the whipped ricotta. You can thank me later. The pepperoni rolls aim to please, so make sure you grab one for each hand because they disappear faster than you anticipate. The everything style seed array on top really deepens the flavor profile. When the munchies hit, that’s where the homemade chocolate chip cookies come in. Perfect texture and flavor, party on the pallet type vibes. Service is absolutely first class. You don’t even make it through the door before being graciously welcomed inside. I shared a nice conversation with Pat while he was prepping orders for the oven. David kept saying how good everything looked as it came out, the mouthwatering temptation not to buy it all was real. You will love Aunt Nancy at first sight, she is so helpful. The entire staff is elite. They’re professional, polite, and extremely friendly. I felt very comfortable when I was there. Atmosphere is small, and super chill. You have an exposed view to the entire kitchen and get a live experience of watching the magic happen. Without a single doubt, I recommend making time to visit and experience for yourself. Astonishing people, and remarkable food. Happiness all around.

Patrick and team was so friendly and nice. We drove out from sqrl hill area – worth it! We bought in a guitar and got a little song from Patrick himself. Pizza was phenomenal we got cheese, legalize marinara, margarita, and hot dad. Crust was crunchy but not tough. Perfection. In gus we crust.

Im literally typing this from their parking lot. I barely made it out the door before busting through the box. The service was amazing. You couldnt meet nicer guys if you tried!!!!
