Driving back from Baltimore. We decided to stop in here. It was absolutely amazing. The staff was very friendly, they served us very quickly. The food was fairly priced for very large portions, and it was all absolutely delicious.

Beyon saying that this was some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had, this is probably one of the best meals I’ve had in the last several years. Absolutely amazing! I wish I lived closer so I have it more often, I just may have to drive an hour or more to get there every once in awhile to go again.

Delicious! Highly recommend.

This new Nepali restaurant has decent food, noting that really wows or really disappoints either. The fried momos were ok, the filling lacked flavor. The butter chicken and garlic naan were great. Chicken sekua was average, as was the fried fish. Overall, for the price, I’d say the portions and flavors were not enough. I wouldn’t mind giving it another shot because the service and atmosphere are very welcoming and food was completely fresh.

Our family absolutely loves this restaurant! The Hakka noodles, chicken curry, Momo and bhindi masala are all incredible, every bite is full of flavor. We often do carryout because we enjoy eating at home together, and the kids are always excited for their favorite dishes. It’s become a go-to for family meals that everyone enjoys! Whenever I asked them to pack papad on side for my daughter they always remember to do it. Delicious food and excellent service, that’s what really matters!

Absolutely incredible dining experience! The flavors at TANDOOR SPICE are out of this world, especially their Indo chinese Must try ( NOODLES) dishes,while the **CHICKEN KORMA** was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The **Vegetable Biryani** was fragrant and loaded with fresh veggies—every bite was a delight!

The service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance was vibrant yet cozy. If you love authentic Indian cuisine with amazing vegetarian options, this is the place to go. Can’t wait to come back!

**Highly recommend!** ✨

The food is amazing. We’ve always done carry out but the dining area seems pretty nice. Nothing too fancy but clean and would definitely like to eat in some time. The chicken curries are some of the best I’ve ever had. Chicken is so tender and flavor packed…so good! The naan is also amazing. A bit on the expensive side, but totally worth it!

**Our dine-in service experience was extremely disappointing.**

On my first visit, I ordered carryout and the food was very good. Based on that experience, I returned to dine in and brought my fiancée.

It was extremely cold outside (around 19° with a wind chill closer to 12°). We proceeded to walk towards the back of the restaurant to choose seats away from the door and front windows to avoid the cold, but were abruptly told we could not sit there and were escorted—without explanation—to a booth directly next to the door and window, as if we had no choice. (We just assumed then that the tables were for a reserved party.)

Every time the door opened, cold air poured in. We were forced to keep our coats, hats, and scarves on the entire time. Shortly after sitting down, our server told us we needed to order immediately because the cooks were about to go on their lunch break. Personally, I felt rushed and didn’t have adequate time to review the menu, which led to a hasty ordering decision.

Moments later, we noticed three cooks sitting together in a booth, with an empty booth directly behind them—one we clearly could have sat in (it was not busy, only two tables were occupied). This made it obvious the seating restriction was for staff convenience, not customer comfort. It was also concerning that the entire kitchen appeared to be on break at the same time, essentially closing the kitchen while customers were dining. In most restaurants, cooks rotate their breaks so at least one or two people remain available to prepare meals while guests are dining. And from previous reviews, it appears that a few other guests share the same grievance.

Unfortunately, this dine-in experience fell far short of our expectations. The food is good, but the service was not. We will not be dining in again. If we decide to patronize again, it will be carryout only.

This is the BEST Indian/Nepalese restaurant around!! (and that is saying a lot for Ellicott City since there are so many good options). Everything on the menu is delicious but one of my favorites is the lamb biryani! I like to eat it with lamb vindaloo, butter chicken, and garlic naan, but there are so many options you really can not go wrong! The service is always great and the waiters are very attentive. The only issue is that sometimes the food can take a while to be prepared, especially if the kitchen is slammed for carry out orders or around dinner time. However, that is the price you pay for great food. I regularly bring my friends here and we all agree that this is one of our favorite restaurants in Ellicott City!

Tandoor Spice is a hidden gem in the Ellicott city area. As I have come to depend on Google ratings, this restaurant caught my eye. The written reviews increased my curiosity and we were not disappointed. We ordered a number of appetizers and entrees and baring the vegetarian momas and alu paratha — both were bland, the rest were absolutely great! The table staff were very nice and helpful.

This restaurant is certainly a place to visit and we will be there again soon. The standout items include:

Chilli Panner: ++
Chilli Naan: +++ (fair warning; it’s really spicy)
Chilli Chicken: +++ (spicy)
Hakka Noodles: ++
Saag Panner: +
Chicken Korma: +++

Other items we ordered were:
Alu paratha
Rice
Vegetarian Momos

Hope you enjoy this restaurant as much as I did.

Best Indian cuisine I’ve had in a long time! This will definitely be my new go-to spot. The chicken korma was incredibly tender with outstanding flavor, and the rosemary naan was delicious. The service was excellent and made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing! Generous portions of fresh and flavorful Indian and Nepali dishes. Their samosa chaat was the best I have ever had. Perfectly balanced and texturally exciting with crisp samosas and juicy pomegranate, it was the highlight of an all star meal. Service was friendly and accommodating. Decor is eye catching yet peaceful. Prices were great, especially considering the generous portions. An amazing gem just off the interstate that is well worth a stop!
