Owners are unresponsive to complaints, and when they do respond, they are incredibly rude. The “stuffed” pancakes I received had less stuffing on the inside that the tiny amount of strawberry topping. It was missing the whipped cream entirely. The hashbrowns were cold, but burnt around the edges and smelled awful like burning.

Only rating it a one star because you can’t do a review without it. I will NEVER go again. The wait time to get you food is ridiculous. I ordered a simple breakfast (or so I thought) 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 waffles and toast. The man taking my order (which I find out later was the owner) didn’t ask how I wanted my eggs cooked. He never brought out the toast I had to ask him for it twice. There was another customer that came in right after my fiance and I. He tried to place his order and all he ordered was coffee and it was never brought to him. He got up and walked out. He looked at us and said good luck. When we went to check out the owner tried to charge us for food that we didn’t even order. My fiance had to walk up to the register and show him what we got and he still changed us wrong.

First of all, I would like to start off by thanking this restaurant owner for going above and beyond and accepting our reservation for 9 people on Mother’s Day. I realize that is a very busy day and NO ONE takes reservations! I stumbled across this restaurant on Google. Even though I come to Norwalk frequently, I didn’t even know this place existed. Our waitress was very friendly, accomodating, fast and efficient. Our breakfast was really good minus the pancakes. They were really overdone on the bottom. I apologized for complaining but my little guy couldn’t chew them. I didn’t know that a couple of other people in our party who ordered pancakes had the same issue but didn’t say anything. I’m only adding it to my review so that the manager can bring it to the cook’s attention. It wasn’t a huge deal….our waitress had a new batch out in no time. We would definitely come back. Thank you so much to everyone working that day and for accommodating our large party. ❤️❤️❤️

Disaster, only gave a 2 because Amanda server was excellent. Apparently the real cook called off. Food prepared by owner, sadly I realized he was trying, but he cooked one thing at time. So our party was 4, and food did not arrive together. Honestly food was terrible, other than coffee. We had been at this restraunt about 5 months ago apparently different owners and the food was good. Oh the phone number listed is incorrect too. Sorry this review is so bad but food was that bad

I doordashed from here. My toast was not toasted at all they cut up the bread and brushed on butter oil. The eggs had no salt or pepper they were just so plain. The pancakes had no flavor at all and were super super thin just not good. The biscuit and gravy terrible. The biscuits were so burnt and so hard you couldn’t even bite into it. I have never left a review before on anything I typically just accept its bad and not order there again but this place was so bad I had to do this so hopefully they’ll get a better cook.

Small diner downtown, perfect location for a quick downtown breakfast. They open at 7 AM so you can still get to work on time. The gentlemen working were friendly, kept my coffee cup full (and one for the road) and quick
The food was excellent, the few times I have been I always get the breakfast bowl. If you have never had a breakfast bowl, and like a hearty breakfast, then I recommend you go tomorrow and get one. I like mine with the eggs over easy instead of scrambled.
I was told they have a great burger day on Thursday for lunch, I’m looking forward to trying it net time I’m in town.
