Rain affected the food being ready due to wet wood but the owner Greg fixed us a complimentary plate for the road trip to hold us over.. Traveling from Waxo to Baton Rouge. He was so kind, giving and food was so delicious and asked nothing in return.

Showed up before he opened, we didn’t know that the place had hours or anything. The owner was gracious, served us despite not being fully opened for the day. The pork sandwich was AMAZING!!! The sauce was delicious and you could tell it was homemade. While we were there, he gave us a sample of the brisket, and it was also AMAZING. If you are in the Stonewall area on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday then you have got to give this place a try. It is sooooo worth it.

Great little local stop for BBQ. You will need to be patient because the owner is the operator who was working alone when I went. He was super personable and I enjoyed conversing with him as he filled my order. Tried the brisket and chicken which were wonderful. Ribs must be popular, he was out when I went after work. The potato salad is on the sweet side, so if you prefer the tang of traditional mustard potato salad you may not like it. I bet he would let you sample it first! We will go back. Gotta try those ribs!

never new this place existed, i do now and holly cow is it amazing. the chef and staff are just so great and polite and friendly. most importantly the bbq is so so good. there was a little bit of a wait but its worth it. if you like or love bbq this is the spot to go. screened in dine in area to sit and enjoy your meal and some of the best brisket and ribs you could ask for. they also do sausage and other pork, all of it is so good. I will be back no doubt. hope this review helps, come on by and check it out for your self, you wont be disappointed imo.

We drove down to Stonewall excited about trying out the barbecue. Arrived 2:50 p.m. on a Thursday and it was closed. There are no signs indicating hours of operation so maybe it’s hit and miss.
