Worst food ever. I came here for the first time. I ordered multiple items and every single one of them was inedible, yes it was that bad. I never throw away food, and this place took took cake for it since I had to trash everything. The fried rice had no flavor, the lo mein was mainly sprouts and little flavor. The lemon chicken was so over cooked I couldn’t eat it. As you can see from the photo they probably didn’t wash the lemon as the sticker is still on the piece. The shrimp toast was rubbery and clearly from a frozen package. I have never had such bad food on every single level. Not only that, they keep their kitchen door open to the outside letting bugs fly in.

Covid-19 Updated review: as of 4th week of June, this place is still doing Take-Out only during MoCo Phase 2. I ordered my food online from their website, and my food was ready in 15 for pickup. I felt very safe using their new “Pick-Up Window” since it was almost contactless process. Foods are always fresh and tasty, and very nicely packed. Just another level of neighborhood Chinese food. Recommend!

Dated, but it’s a great throwback era Chinese Restaurant looks about the 1940’ish style.
The waitress, maybe one of the original owners reminded me of a nice grandmother.
Her service was good.
The food was okay: I ordered Shrimp and Lobster with Wong Tong (sp?) Very tasty, but spectacular
The Wong Tong was too crispy, and a bit greasy. Meal plus tip totaled $29.00 for 1 person.
You may like the throwback bar in the back of the restaurant. Not for me, but an option for some to indulge in an after work spirit or two.
One thing bothered me were the flies next to the window sills…yuck! That needed some cleaning

Ridiculous, absolutely unbelievable the tiny portion size. I can literally eat the whole take out rice portion in 3 bites. I was just laughing when I saw it and thought “how in the he** is this not a kids size platter and rice” I mean seriously???? Never seen this before. Unacceptable the photo says it all, and yes.. The tiny receipt is bigger than the platter, and the card is actually a business sized card.

This is another small, family run business that seems to be pretty well run. Tables are appropriately spaced, and we’ve never had to wait long if wait at all for a seat. Food has always been good and the services been good as well. My only suggestion is that if you’re really not that hungry, be careful what you order. The servings are pretty big. Even the lunch fried rice serving was huge. Well worth the trip, two thumbs up.

Please stay away … I didn’t listen to the bad reviews … food is very old and rotten . I ordered pork dumplings and asked him if they were homemade come to find out it’s not homemade or fresh so he basically lied to me. It was so hard and squishy and smelled months old. I got super sick and asked for a refund. I tried the fried rice and the shrimp was very squishy and rubbery and had an old smell. I’m a chef so I know when food is old . Even the side of green chopped onions had a bad Oder to it and it wasn’t fresh. I wonder who’s the head chef because this is terrible. This is one of the worst restaurants I ever seen. When you walk inside you’ll smell the worst Oder and the carpets are stained up. I don’t know how to the locals eat here. I wish I could’ve took a picture. I’ve ate authentic Thai food and even worked in the food industry. I don’t think this restaurant would pass inspection. Save your time and money please don’t go here unless you want to get sick from the food. My friend got the egg drop soup and even that was old. If you want good food go to “district dumplings”. In Virginia Or to “city taste “ in downtown silver spring you won’t regret it. I feel terrible the next day.

stopped by here recently, early Friday evening, first time in many years. I had shrimp and lobster sauce with sweet and sour soup. Based on recent reviews I was a bit hesitant, but it wasn’t bad at all ! The only thing was it was priced high. The food was at least average or above compared with other Chinese restaurants in the area, just a tad more expensive. Waitress was good! I will return.

Good food, very tasty. Had the Combination Fried rice and Lo Mein, steamed dumplings, shrimp appetizer, and spicy shrimp and scallops with mixed vegetables. Service was good even with one server, tables are nicely spaced out for social distancing. Great place and one of our favorites places for Chinese food.

We have eaten here many times over the years, both dine-in and take out. They have good solid food and a nice atmosphere. We brought extended family there for dinner (8 of us) without a reservation and they had a little room with a large round table and glass French doors that they put us in. It was lovely. The meal we had recently was only 3.5 stars (the Szechuan beef wasn’t spicy enough for my husband), but I’ll round up because of our good history with them. We’ve never used the bar, but I should mention it. It seems like there may be some regulars there.
