This is a great little bar. The people and staff are always so friendly. Great place for bikes to stop for refreshments and food. Great family atmosphere too. Close to the beach with plenty of outdoor seating.

Gonna be honest me and my buddies came into the bar around 11-12:00 last night and were looking to get a couple drinks, bartender who was working was very untrained and unaware of a regular NY ID, denied our buddy because he was the only one without a enhanced NYS license, bartender got chirpy and was honestly very rude when we tried explaining that NYS enhanced licenses have a different layout then the non enhanced NYS ID, I would definitely get some training on that bartender for regular NYS ID, he was very VERY rude about it and honestly shouldn’t be bartending as I am a bartender myself.

Bartender got mad because we didn’t tip him , so he said he’s not serving us any more, that his done. He continued to serve others around us and i didnt see them tip. I Only got 2 drinks. I was going to tip but the drinks were all pop for a double. I think this was racial profiling since jump street.

This is a great corner bar the new owners are very nice .I love the music on the patio this summer had a great time. The bartender they have now are great it’s nice to see some old bartenders back. Always a good time and we still see mike and Debbie. Looking forward to next summer.

Last weekend was my first time visiting the Angola area. I came into this bar and ordered one single vodka cran to enjoy above the beach. For reference, I am 22 years old and have a VALID NYS LICENSE. The rude bartender snatched my ID from me and immediately ran into the back room where the manager was hiding out, I assume. She came back a few minutes later and yelled at me to stand up straight, in front of the entire packed bar. She kept looking at my ID and me. Have they never had a young adult come into the bar or is it just old people?? As a bartender, shouldn’t she know a real vs fake ID? She ended up running back to her manager and didn’t come back for 5 minutes this time. The nice gentleman next to me turned to me and asked what the problem was. I told him how ridiculous it was that she couldn’t figure out if the ID was actually mine.. I look EXACTLY like my license pictures because it’s MINE. When the bartender returned, I told her it wasn’t even worth it to buy a drink anymore and asked for my license back. She refused to give it back until I ordered a drink, which I thought was really weird. I ended up ordering the vodka cran. I made the mistake of not watching her make the drink. When she gave it to me, I stormed out. I took 2 sips of the drinks and realized it was ALL cranberry juice. Did she really think I wouldn’t notice? I’m sure her boss, who didn’t even have the decency to come talk to me, told her to scam me. I was actually hoping they would call the cops, maybe it would be a learning lesson for them. What a waste of money. I will never be returning to this bar! Just go across the street instead. I am disgusted at how I was treated. I have NEVER had a problem getting into ANY bar or buying a drink until last weekend. DO BETTER!

Basically it is a great beach bar! A larger food menu such as even wings. Especially if you’re gluten free. I am so happy you have live music though. That makes everything better!!!!!!

They sell shots of tequila. I only know this because I ended up shirtless in the parking lot trying to stumble into the converted bus we arrived in (dubbed the “hot mess express”). I sent numerous shirtless snaps to my ex. When I got home I apparently wrestled open a bag of cool ranch Doritos and rolled around in them. There were crumbs in my butt crack and my right ear. Highly recommend.

Visited with former classmates for a High School reunion, and ended up in Stroh’s Tavern. The place was dogeared and worn, but that add to the charm. It’s a local hangout with a pool table, deck that looks out to the lake and a good size parking lot.
