I loved my experience here. Great atmosphere and service. Very accommodating and the dishes were served as I asked them too be, I’m picky on some items. Again, very accommodating. The rolls and oil with garlic and everything they include were incredible. The dinner salad was perfect with Xtra house dressing. Angel hair pasta substituted for the mash potatoes, perfect. The chicken picata was served exactly as I ordered. Go here when you get a chance.

I was truly taken by the ambience of this restaurant. The holiday spirit was shining bright. We were warmly welcomed and seated quickly. The food was delicious. Our service was excellent. I would highly recommend this place for an outing with family or for a romantic date night. I’m not sure how busy they get so do call ahead if you are going with a large group during peak times. Our group of 3 was seated quickly. The tables are well spaced so you don’t feel crowded.

We visited Café Luna for the first time this evening and we were so impressed. We were seated by a smiling and highly professional hostess who promptly brought us a cold bottle of water for the table. Our waitress, Linda, was very attentive and friendly throughout our service. If you love espresso martinis that aren’t overly sweet, ask Linda to make yours! The fresh Italian rolls came with the most amazing olive oil with herbs, green onions and garlic for dipping. We dined with another couple and all four of us were blown away by the quality and taste of each entreé. The restaurant was beautiful on the inside with a beautiful central fireplace. We often order out from different places because we don’t want to cook, and we get disappointed because we know if we cooked we could make it better than most restaurants. Not this place! Overall, I give this a five star rating. If you’ve been wondering about Café Luna, wonder no more.

I’ll start by saying I’m from Houston, Texas. I’m not usually motivated enough to review places but I think Cafe Luna is really deserving of a great review. The waitresses were very attentive and kind, the food was great, the salad tasted fresh, and the bread was even good as well. It was a bit empty on our side of the restaurant though I couldn’t understand why because all around I had such a great experience. Thank you cafe Luna for a great first time experience in Connecticut!

We’ve lived all over the place and tried so many restaurants in our life time. Sometimes after several bad experiences you almost give up with thinking your going to have a perfect meal perfect service perfect experience. This place nailed all 3. Perfect!!!!!!!! The food was absolutely mouth watering. We lost track of time we told our server we needed our food as quickly as possible so we can dine in and go. Our server was more then helpful with getting our food out to us as quickly as she could. We ordered soups ,chicken parmigiana, steak special —they both came with a side salad with Italian dressing. So good so good so good!!!!!!!! I have so many dietary restrictions eating out can be SUCH a chore. Sometimes it’s not even worth it. Garlic is a major killer for me when dining out. Gluten ..lactose honestly a diet of twigs and leaves has crossed my mind more then one occasion. The aftermath of a meal can really cause such havoc it’s honestly NOT worth it sometimes to eat out. I really can’t express how happy we are to have found this place. If you haven’t come in .. dine in .. take out ..whatever your in the mood to do this place is perfect. Thank you and we look forward to coming again very soon. I’m sorry have to say it again.. .. .. thank you!!!!!!!!!
