06/22/24 – It was an hour before I got the chance to eat. The turkey necks and rice were tasty but the oil from the okra had cooked too many items today. Also, they serve white bread instead of cornbread.
The building is long past its prime and was a smoking establishment. As soon as I stood in line, a gentleman greeted me, asked if I called in my order, took my order, and gave me a time frame for waiting. My food was ready in less time than quoted.

Some of the best catfish I’ve had in a longgggg time! Such a homey feeling & great customer service. Many would judge by the appearance/location but it’s good people and good food there. Big filets & I had one 2 pc catfish with fries & corn nuggets. Fries are ok but corn nuggets are delicious. You’d have to ask for the correct pricing as they have updated their menu prices but not physically on the menu. I would return just for their catfish although they’re known for their burgers.

I ordered a pan trout sandwich with fries I was told it was $10.50 went in and got the order paid it no mind what I was charged, but it ended up being $13. Then everything on the plate was salty. I could feel the grit on the fries and the fish wasn’t good at all. I would never order from this restaurant again and I require a refund.

This was my first time at this place my cousin wanted to go. The young man that was taking the orders was very rude. He was also smoking a cigarette in the place upon ordering which I thought was weird . I don’t think I’ll be going back but hey this is just my opinion . But the fish was great .
