Mr. Cajun is amazing! The food is full of flavor, fresh, and always served hot. The portions are generous, the seasoning is spot-on, and every bite tastes authentic. The staff are friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely one of my favorite spots

If you are looking for a restaurant outside your usual comfort zone, then Mr Cajun is a great option.
Good selection of seafood dishes that can be customs made to some extent.
We came on a Thursday night for dinner on a freezing day, so the place was somewhat empty. This would have been a different story on a weekend. Great setup and casual atmosphere with plenty of free parking outside. Service was fast and pleasant. They do not serve alcohol, nor can you bring your own.
We ordered prawns and mussels and they were cooked with lots of garlic, butter, cajun and spices.
This is where the fun begins with all the food is served right on the table. (on disposable paper, of course!)
They provide disposable apron and gloves to eat our food.
Then a side bowl of melted butter with sauce to dip everything in, as an option.
We selected mild spicy but could have easily gone a notch above. The dish comes with white rice, corn on the cob, boiled potatoes. So much flavour and perfect blend of sauce. So good! Love it. Think about cholesterol after, but do not be guided by your eyes before you order, as they are always bigger than your stomach.
While in normal circumstances, I would award a 5 star without hesitation, I have to penalize for their washroom standard. The male washroom was not great but just ok. The female was in a deplorable state and not a pretty sight.

The sauce is very buttery, but be warned, the waiting time is ridiculously long. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our food. On top of that, the sauce turned out to be quite salty. For a “big” portion that cost around $250 (shared among 4 people), it came with only a single potato, which felt very disappointing given the price. Honestly, for that cost and wait time, I expected better.

Honestly I love this place I’ve been coming to Mr Cajun since they opened and their food is always 100% worth the money I swear I would spend my last on them, the flavour is unreal, their cooking is amazing and their customer service is so special and different ! I’m being honest I would go here over Baton Rouge / the key ANY DAY!!!! You can tell how much passion they put in their food! Me and my two boys love and leave overly satisfied very single time !

3 families ordered a “small family” per family and we also each added an order of shrimp/shrimp mix to our orders.
Wian was so awesome helping us through our first visit and presenting the food when it came out was so fun!!!

This place was incredible. I had never tried a seafood boil before, and this was my very first time—what an introduction! The food was absolutely delicious and came in a huge portion. Even after tipping around 18%, my bill only came out to about $25, which felt like an amazing deal for the quality and amount of food.
But what really stood out was the service. It was truly unmatched. Everyone working there was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had everything we needed. While we had a wonderful server, the entire staff pitched in—no one passed the buck or said they’d tell our server. If we asked for something like extra cutlery, ketchup, or salt, whoever we asked got it right away, no questions asked.
This level of teamwork and hospitality made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back—and bringing friends!

Loved it!! We got the Grand Ocean to share & 2 fried calamari on the side, perfect for 8 people. Very well seasoned & flavourful. Our server Nesrine was helpful & attentive to our needs. Would definitely come back!!

We arrived six ( girls ) on friday, February 20th at 7:30 pm. Unfortunately, the service was horrendous. The waitress was hostile from the start—rolling her eyes and making faces at us the entire time. She refused to bring us water when we requested it, so we had to get it ourselves. I’m not sure if she was jealous or just having a bad day, but her attitude completely overshadowed the decent food.

I love the food so I’ve been multiple times, but the service at this location is not good. I mentionned we wanted the sauce not spicy, the waitress misunderstood as medium spicy. She proceeded to put all the blame on us, then removed the food from our table without a single word. After that, she said in a condescending tone that it wasn’t their fault because the garlic in the sauce is spicy (???). It made the experience so uncomfortable. I would totally go back, but never at this location.
