Came here yesterday due to getting recommended to go there.Staff nice and friendly . The chips and the curry sauce were nice. The fish was crispy however full of bones didn’t enjoy picking them out . Battered sausage wasn’t really battered and seemed overcooked .

Was one the best about few years ago but everytime I have Sauasge it strikes me down and the fish use to be a lot better. Same owners. But just the quality is there anymore Is there such a thing as a decent chippy anymore. Wouldn’t mind paying more. It’s also in the nice area of the city but who knows. Sorry chaps

Awful, I don’t know what has happened. Chips are so dry and overcooked it’s like eating dry bread.
Portions have shrunk.
Fish is over cooked, as are the battered sausages. Batter is tough and chewy. So bad.

We will not be returning.

Lovely local chip shop. Good food, great portion sizes and good prices. Cooked to perfection. Asked for scraps and was give a very generous free portion.
Staff were very polite and accommodating when I needed to make an addition to the order.
Social distancing is adhered to and all staff were wearing masks.
I’ll definitely be returning.

Don’t know what’s happened since last time, it all looked good and portions were reasonable, but the fish was just frozen cod fried in batter, no taste or body to fish, didn’t recognise it as cod, nothing fresh about the fish.
Great shame used to be very good.
