Great little find in a semi-industrial part of town. Very clean, friendly staff, lots of food options. Food was fresh and tasty, authentic Mexican flavors. Very affordable prices (especially for Maui), and certainly worth trying!!
I had the chicken quesadillas plate and my wife had Caldo de Res. Delicious!

2 for 2!! Another great dish from Chabelita’s. The salty, flavorful carnitas enchiladas smothered in a bright, tangy salsa verde, perfectly complemented each other. The rice and beans bringing their own authentic flavor shines in their own rite. The awesome service and Mexican pop music created a great atmosphere. I plan to be a regular here!

Come try this! Despite arriving 30 minutes before closing, they were gracious and accommodating, helped me decide on a burrito (Al Pastor was a good call). Perfect amount of spice and flavor, especially with the green salsa. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable, with movies playing in the background. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu-I’ll be back!

Visiting and just finished hiking the Waihee Ridge trail and built up an appetite! Opened up Google maps and found Chabelita’s and stopped in for a late lunch.
We were the only ones there, so that was a little concerning and the fact that the location is in an industrial area.
No worries! The staff was so friendly, and food was delicious and filling. We had a great lunch and loved it!

New family Mexican restaurant – it’s hidden a bit as it’s upstairs and in a bit of a commercial area of Wailuku but worth finding! Tasty, authentic food- we really enjoyed Costillas con Salsa Verde with beans and Carnitas Tlacayo. And a Mexican Squirt in a bottle!
Great service. Check them out – we need to keep our Maui restaurants in business, and this one needs to stick around!

Wow! The meal here was DELICIOUS. Got huevos rancheros and chilaquiles and the flavor was amazing. The service was quick and our server was friendly.
Will definitely come back and look forward to trying lunch/dinner meals.

Chabelita’s is a new restaurant in town. I have tried the shrimp tacos, burritos and fajitas. Delicious.

A “hidden-gem” that really ought not to be, stopped here on a whim and the food was absolutely delicious. I got to share shrimp tacos and a carne asada burrito and both of them were absolutely fantastic to the last bite. The sauce
on the shrimp tacos is especially good. For dessert, the churros came accompanied with a chocolate and caramel sauce and they were the perfect ending to the meal. Go check out
Chabelita’s!

Perhaps the best (only?) moderately priced *authentic* Mexican food on Maui. Five “Maui-Mexican Food” stars. We went with friends, party of 8. My husband is “born and raised” from Tamaulipas, Mx. Having lived in Chicago long time, we were spoiled with many fanastic, authentic Mexican dining nearby, due to 50+ years of large-scale immigration from Mexican Nationals originating in D.F., Guanajato, MIchoacan, etc. “Tex-Mex”, “Cali-Mex” & “Baja” style Mex cooking doesn’t do it for us. Hubs had posole, I had tacos de lengua. Hubby gave his posole an “8”, my street style tacos were good. That said, lengua is a tricky meat with a lot of different preferences as to how it’s cooked. It was ok, my liking is thinner cuts and juicier.Chilaquiles Divorciados are on the breakfast menu (they open at 8) and we’re excited to go back another day to try breakfast. The restaurant is impeccably clean, service was attentive and the food quite good. Recommend.

Delicious food! Usually don’t finish the sides, BUT the rice and beans were so flavorful. As were the mains that we ordered that we couldn’t help but clean our plates. All the food we ordered was flavorful and amazing. Tacos, Guaraches, Camarones à la diabla, and ceviche were all delicious. Hidden gem in Wailuku! 10/10
