In a world full of Taziki’s, be a great Greek customer. Just try it once. That will be all it takes for you to become a life long patron. The food is amazing, and the service is just as amazing. Everyone is so friendly which is hard to come by these days. I could keep going on but just try it. Also try the soup!!

I chose this place based off of the reviews and I’m here to add another one because it was amazing. We got lamb kebabs and they were absolutely delicious. The pita and tzatziki were fresh, the feta fries- delicious!!! If we’re ever in the area again we will be coming back. We also got a salad that I forgot to take a pic of. The inside was very nice, clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly. Prices pretty reasonable. It was amazing!

First time eating here and I must say… we enjoyed it! There is a large seating area outside with picnic tables and other table seating. There are other restaurants close by and they share outside seating but each individual restaurant also has their own inside dining. Very family friendly environment. We ordered a hummus appetizer (very tasty topped with chick peas and served with soft warm pita). For entrees we had the gyro plate with feta fries and the lamb kabobs with feta fries. Both were served with Greek salads (tasty, but lacked enough dressing for my taste). The gyro was bland but the kabobs (souvlaki) were seasoned well! We would try this place again and order the souvlaki! The service was fast and friendly.

Been looking for our definitive gyro place in the Birmingham area for a while, and this place is now a serious contender! Went for lunch at noon on a Saturday and it wasn’t busy at all, though a couple bigger groups wandered in around 12:30. A bit nicer atmosphere than a lot of fast casual places, and of course tables outside in the shared green/game/patio space. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, and our food was not only ready very quickly but served considerately–they delayed our ice cream until we were done with our main dishes.
Ordered two Great Greek Gyros (one without tomatoes, one without tomatoes, onions, and feta), a side of fries, rice pudding, and baklava ice cream. The gyros were excellent: good quality meat, wrapped in a thick flatbread like we prefer (as opposed to inside a pita or wrapped in a thin tortilla-like flatbread), and the romaine lettuce was a nice touch. Rice pudding was good, too. Fries were of the evercrisp kind that we aren’t huge fans of, though, and felt a little expensive at $4. Loved the concept of the baklava ice cream, and the honey tasted great, but the ice cream itself was low quality (ice crystals throughout) especially considering the $6 price tag.
Those last two caveats aside, however, a great experience overall. We’ll definitely be back!

We drive a long way to the Great Greek in Vestavia, Alabama. It’s always worth the drive. The food has always been fresh and the staff very nice.

Wow, what an experience! The service was outstanding and the food was absolutely fantastic. I walked in a bit perplexed about what to order, and the friendly guy at the front eagerly jumped in with his amazing suggestions. Thanks to him, I ended up with an incredible plate of succulent chicken and tender lamb, paired perfectly with fluffy rice and a vibrant salad. It was simple yet bursting with flavor!
