Love the decor of the place— cozy in and out. Bonfire area and the tables outside all have overhead heaters. Mocktails and food are yummy.

If you know the McMenamins story and haven’t been here, you should give it a go!! One of the things I love most about these places is that no matter which venue you’re visiting (even if it’s your first time there) they are all so familiar, friendly and for me, feels so comfortable!! The food is outstanding, the beer, wine and spirits can’t be beat, the staff is so incredible and what can I say about the atmosphere other than – if you know, you know!! This was my first time to the Anderson School and I highly recommend!!!

Food was ok, but we just ordered tots. Service was good. Was here to watch Wuthering Heights at the theater, and had a few hours to kill. Lots of open standard sized pool tables. Shuffle board tables. Wife slayed me 3-1 as I love to scratch on the eight ball, haha. Will be back, fun place.

Wonderful place for a romantic dinner. Outdoor seating is gorgeous in good weather. Live music sometimes, beautiful plants and flowers. Colorful glass lamps add a special touch.
We waited awhile for drinks and our
dinner, but it was good when it arrived. Waitress was very pleasant and our order was
Correct.
Sadly, they don’t have Cajun tots and a few other of their specialties.
Not inexpensive, but an enjoyable evening

Food, atmosphere, and service was excellent. Our lunch group of 4 tried the fish and chips and hamburger. All were excellent. Only issue is that the prices are pretty high for lunch. $26 for a lunch burger, sort of exorbitant.

McMenamins Tavern on the Square is an absolute gem in Bothell! The cozy, candlelit atmosphere makes it the perfect place to unwind, whether you’re catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet evening. The history of the old school adds so much character—you can feel the past woven into every detail, from the vintage decor to the charming ambiance. And the food? Outstanding. Their burger is hands down one of the best I’ve had—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Pair it with one of their house-brewed beers, and you’ve got a winning combination. Highly recommend!

Lovely setting for brunch. Food was good, but it took over 35 minutes to be brought to our table and by the time they did, one of my friends who rarely ever complains had to ask for another omelette because hers was quite cold. They did rectify the situation and brought her another plate of the Mt.Rainier Omelet, this time it was hot.

First time here for breakfast — the ambiance was spot on, and the service was friendly and prompt. The food was good, though the prices felt a bit high for breakfast. We sat outside, which was lovely, but it would’ve been nice to have some background music out there. That said, the quiet had its own charm… it was so peaceful you could probably hear a hummingbird fart.

Best cool place to go. A huge old school converted to a theater. Last showing is at 7pm. Dance hall. (led Zeppelin) band was playing last night. At least 3 restaurants plus pool and shuffleboard. Around 6 fire pits are kept going with happy people loving the fires. A huge place but never enough parking. Very cool place.

Our family’s go-to spot for brunch/lunch- one of the few place’s we’re willing to leave the city for a good meal. Menu & atmosphere is unpretentious without being pedestrian (ew, did that sound bougie?). Solid comfort food executed well. Staff is professional while still being friendly. One of these days, we’ll need to try the other facilities!
