I had the Durango burger, fries, and the lobster mac & cheese. The food came out really fast, and the service was great.
I didn’t expect jalapeño cream cheese to work on a burger, but it does and adds good flavor without being too much.
The lobster mac & cheese was very good, and the fries were too. The waiter was really nice and attentive.
They also offer a free drink with proof of a Paramount Theatre ticket, which was a nice bonus.
If you’re looking for great food before a show at the Paramount, this is a great place to stop.

Had a fantastic experience at 5280 Burger Bar in Downtown Denver. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned, juicy, and full of flavor. The Baja-style onion rings were a standout as well: crispy, light, and incredibly tasty.
The location is well-managed, with a cozy indoor ambience, plenty of seating, and a clean, comfortable layout. The service was professional and friendly, making the experience even better.
Overall, 5280 Burger Bar delivers a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend checking them out for all your burger and sandwich cravings when you’re in Downtown Denver.

We enjoyed delicious burgers, creative cocktails, and friendly service. Our group stopped in after an event at the convention center and had a great time dining on the patio. A special shout-out to our server, Pedro, who was outstanding and made our experience even better. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area.

Great atmosphere. Good, but not great, food and service. For a place that features burgers I expect something far above average. But honestly, I would rather have enjoyed a good Double Double from In-N-Out. The rings were okay, but could have used some salt. The fries were the best part of the meal. They were delicious! There is an ice cream counter that I believe is part of the business. The ice cream was excellent, serving a premium product with outstanding taste and mouth feel. Maybe the place should be named 5280 Ice Cream Counter. It truly was a better product. But don’t get me wrong, the food isn’t terrible. Just not as good as expected.

My wife and I are in town from Memphis. We needed to eat somewhere we could walk to. The restaurant is in this really swanky mall area. We walked right in. Our server, Megan, was awesome. She recommended the Durango burger. So good!! The fries and my wife’s burger were also really good. Everything was fresh and hot. It was almost $40 for the meal. We only drank water. I would go here again.

Finally made up my mind and decided to try both the hand-cut onion rings and the fries — and honestly, no regrets at all. Both were fantastic. The fries were crispy with just the right amount of seasoning, and the onion rings had that perfect crunch without being greasy.
The burger itself was fresh, flavorful, and cooked exactly how I ordered it. You can tell they take pride in their ingredients and preparation. The vibe inside is casual but fun, and the staff was friendly and quick.
Craving a great burger in downtown Denver… think I found a good one.

The burger I had was amazing. I asked for bacon, but did not get it. Staff forgot to let the cook or whoever know. No problem, but if someone had come to check on me to see how things were going, they would have known early enough to correct. I was brought my food and did not see staff again until I was brought my check. I would definitely go back again, things happen, but that’s why I gave a 4 for service, which is still good.

I got the guac burger with a wagyu patty. It was delicious. A buttery patty, toasted soft bun. The bacon was the icing on top. I wasn’t a fan of the fries but they were cooked good. They could’ve salted them more. Oh and a tall can of a PBR.

I ordered a Baja Colorado burger with a substitute for black bean patty. I also ordered the blackberry smash drink, but I wasn’t fond of how it tasted. I asked for a new drink and the bartender honored my wishes with another drink, cucumber mint mule, and I really enjoyed it. Overall I enjoyed my visit and my meal at this restaurant.

This was my first time eating at this 5280. Some of the food was very poor, inedible. We got two apps, nachos and fried pickles. Nachos were good, but disappointing/cheap-cheese sauce, salsa, black beans, corn, jalapeño. The fried pickles were so salty we only ate 5% of them, could not eat, don’t order. I ordered the “perfect burger”, after my first bite I noticed an unusual taste of the meat. I continued eating thinking it was just the jalapeños messing with my taste buds. The taste never went away and I ended up eating only 40% of it-no togo boxes. If i could describe taste, it’s a little similar to the smell one of those cattle hauling semi trucks, hard to describe. I know that sounds nuts, but it’s the closest thing I could describe to the taste. I kept checking the cook level on the burger and was glad it was fully cooked. I have ate at the Westminster location with no complaints, but will say their fried pickles were soggy and uncooked. Was very disappointed with the quality of food, definitely not worth the cost. I will say our waiter was great. I believe if the quality of food continues in this direction, this establishment will be going out of business.
