Best smash burgers in the city. Good thing it’s in the Queen Mary market, you’ll need to walk these burgers off. The number one selling burger is the Rival. My favorite is the pb&j burger but be sure to ask about the burger of the month. The fries are the best fresh cut I have ever had.

A great place to try a fantastic burger. My wife and I wanted to check out Queen Mary’s Market and found Rival Burger. It’s the ideal spot to relax before shopping.
The burgers are truly awesome.
I included a map of the market because it shows “Soon to be Rival Restaurant,” which would make the experience even better.
The current location of Rival Burger is marked by an arrow on the right side of the map.

In from Calgary the weekend and my daughter and I were on the hunt for the best burger in Edmonton. And we found Rival Burger, great little location in a cool marketplace, and the food was excellent. I had the Oklahoma burger and it was delicious. Highly recommend

I’ve tried these guys when they were a food truck outside Queen Mary Market…they now have a restaurant inside the market. Decided to try the Rival burger this time off the owners recommendation. Although it tasted great, it was very greasy and salty…but I don’t mind a dirty burger once in awhile! The bun was very dense and held well together and the meat was cooked to a nice thin crisp! I think some groceries would have off set the greasiness and saltiness of the food and that’s why I will be back to try the O.G. Burger next time! Although I didn’t have the fries or hotdogs, they looked amazing and will give them a go as well! Overall, I recommend checking out the market and stopping by for bite!

Honestly my absolute favourite place to get a real burger. My favourite is the PB&J burger, life changing tbh, I even got my friends hooked on it. Careful to try these burgers because you won’t want to get one anywhere els.

Tried it due to the 4.9 rating…was not disappointed. Fantastic burgers, onion rings, and sauces. Found out that the onion rings are incredible if you use the campfire sauce with the first with then gravy with the second, the combination of flavors is truly wonderful. My 6 year old daughter ate nearly an entire OG burger, she usually gets through 1/2 a kids meal burger but demolished the full size OG.
We will definitely be back, average pricing for well above average quality.

One of the best burgers in the city. The buns are so soft. The patties are juicy, well-seasoned, and cooled to perfection. Would definitely come back and order the rest of the burgers in the menu. Overall, good value for money because the burgers ate hefty. Location is good and accessible.

Really good burgers and not overly inflated prices. We had the OG burgers, one hot dog and the fries. Everything is excellent and fresh. The hot dog was very big. My daughter was just able to finish it. The gravy was a little salty but not overly so.
All in all it was great and will be back again.

Rival Burger is a lesser known burger stop on 111 Avenue in North Edmonton. They serve up delicious smash burgers for their food truck or from the nearby building for pick up service to your vehicle.
The burgers are amazing! A few varieties of options. But at the heart of the burger is a well done patty with lots of flavor!

It’s a burger canteen in a flea market, which sounds weird, but I promise you it is among the finest, if not the finest, smash burger that you can find in or around Edmonton. A triumph. Poutine was good too.
