Since 1970 Norman’s Tavern has been a North Beach institution. Located at 6770 Collins Ave on beautiful Miami Beach. We are a traditional sports bar, where you can find American food, a variety of beers and an exceptional atmosphere. We‘re open everyday of the year. Love the place but two things stopped it from being 5 start (4.5 or higher).
1) Chicken wings were perfect. But overcooked and tough to eat. Maybe pre-blanched? They came out fast. But the sauce, crisp and size were perfect for a great wing. I was disappointed for both Norman and myself.
2) Sports bar not playing the best college games on a busy College Football Saturday afternoon. I had to ask and they changed it.
Staff – 5 star
Drinks – Pistachio Martini was fantastic and delightful
Atmosphere – surprisingly rigid and tavernesque for Miami Beach. I’d definitely go back for a burger!

The really enjoyed my fish tacos. Wife enjoyed the wings. Cold beer and really fun atmosphere. Plenty of screens, pool table and darts. Good service.

Came here around 11pm on Tuesday. Had to ask the server for water at least three times. Took forever to flag her down for the check. The cocktails were watery. My burger was soggy from the grease and the meat wasnt cooked medium rare as I requested. Asked the server to give us a printed out receipt and she never did. Then the real kicker: I got food poisoning immediately after eating here.

Elizabeth was wonderful! She suggested some special dishes for us, and everything was absolutely excellent. The food was delicious, and her recommendations were perfect. She was very friendly, attentive, and made our experience even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated her great service and would love to come back again. Highly recommend!

& Elizabeth (queen) was so helpful and kind the whole night. We asked for a lot and she was so quick and provided us with a great experience. Truly it’s people like her that make a difference in our experiences. (She deserves a raise).

We stopped for a night in Miami and wanted a comfortable place with good food. We hit the right spot! Killer nachos, a really good burger, a super nice waitress and just a comfy feel. Definitely a spot we will hit when we are here.

We just finished a great meal at Norman’s. Our server, “Queen” Elizabeth was very helpful and the food came out super fast. She’s the best! I had the Cobb salad with chicken and my husband had a burger. Both were great. Drinks are excellent and everything seemed reasonably priced. The neighborhood has a great vibe. Will definitely come back next time we’re in Miami.

Talk about exceeding expectations! ✨ This place was great; the atmosphere is sport’s bar, but the food is high quality – everything tasted great. That salmon with the lemon and herb seasoning was perfect. Golden and crispy, but just perfectly moist in the center; went with the veggies, and the rice and beans, and it was the best salmon dinner I’ve had in a while. Very cool place. It was recommended by the Monte Carlo staff, and they didn’t fail the mission.
