If you’re in the mood for fresh, flavorful Baja-style eats with a laid-back coastal vibe, Hub Baja Grill is a solid pick on Siesta Key. The food here is genuine. The ingredients taste fresh and the portions are satisfying without being overwhelming.
What really sets Hub Baja Grill apart is the atmosphere. It strikes that sweet spot between casual and lively — great for a relaxed lunch after the beach or an easy dinner with friends. The staff is friendly, the outdoor seating adds to the breezy, island feel, and there’s a nice flow to the place that makes you want to linger a bit.
A four-star experience overall — delicious food and a welcoming vibe — and the only reason it’s not five stars is that a couple of dishes could use a bit more punch, but overall it’s definitely worth a visit.

We stopped in for a quick appetizer snack and a couple margaritas and were not disappointed. The patio was seated nicely on the streets of Siesta Key and happened to have live music while we were there. The margaritas were known to be the best of Siesta Key and they seemed to live up to that hype. All in all, great stop for drinks and live entertainment.

My wife and I had lunch there last weekend and we loved it! The food was delicious!!! I had the grouper sandwich with bacon and avocado! The portion was huge! The sandwich was absolutely delicious! I washed it down with one of their famous Pina coladas, amazing! My wife got the shrimp tacos and loved them. Our server was Jose and he was terrific! Very friendly, helpful, attentive and a great attitude! We really had a great time and dining experience here! We highly recommend this place!

Drinks were good and our server was amazing — but that’s about it for this place. Portion sizes were extremely small, and the nachos were terrible. We asked to have the chili removed, but what we were served afterward was just as bad (see attached photos). The hostess neither greeted us nor said goodbye; she just looked right through us. We won’t be returning and definitely do not recommend this place.

Stumbled upon this gem while checking out siesta key. Good music, loved the outdoor seating like on a porch. Our waitress was so cute and helpful and our food was delicious, highly recommend!

Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere with a huge patio on both sides, large indoor area and good selection of food. The food was ok. Margarita looked good but not as coconut or limey as I would have liked. The blackened grouper sandwich was a good portion but not very flavourful and very watery. The kids Mac and cheese is KD which should not be the case but once the server mentioned it, of course my 3 year old wanted it which felt like a waste. Also, a band came on at one point which is fine but glad we weren’t super close to the speakers.

Our server was Kameron and he was fantastic! I am a vegetarian and he got the kitchen to make a special meat-free version of the nachos. Apparently the restaurant has two different types of tortilla chips. I didn’t even know that, but Kameron brought them both out for me to try before he put in the order. The nachos were really good, the service was phenomenal, and they had a good selection of beers too (I got a hazy IPA). On top of that, the live band was great. We had a wonderful night.

We were looking for a place to quickly fill our bellies and decided to grab some grub from The Hub. The service was outstanding, the drinks were refreshing, and our food arrived promptly and was incredibly tasty.
We can’t stop raving about the Truffle Fries. The delicious flavor of the truffle oil sent chills of delight through me with every crunch. Although the tacos were a bit on the pricey side, we both agreed they were worth it.
We will definitely be returning to this spot, and I highly recommend it!
