This place was really pleasant. First time there. I had the giant walnut chicken salad. It was delish! We had onion rings tower, the sauces were great, my husband was skeptical but he loved the maple Dijon sauce. The petite pina colada was very good, didn’t even miss the alcohol. Only one complaint,… we had eyed up the cupcakes on the way in. And they looked amazing. But kind of a disappointment. The cake was dried out, the icing WAY too sugary. Waste of money and calories. Stick with the real food. Decent meal for the price, and the wait staff was prompt, knowledgeable, and kind.

Had dinner at Maggie McFly’s on 2/2/26 during peak evening hours, and overall it was a great experience. The wait time was exactly what you’d expect for a busy night, but the front-of-house team handled everything seamlessly and made it look effortless.

Our waitress was attentive, organized, and on top of every detail. The kitchen and back-of-house staff were clearly hustling nonstop to keep up with the rush, and it showed in the quality and timing of the food. Everything came out just right.

If I had one small critique, it would be the size of the menu. While I understand that the extensive selection is part of the Maggie McFly’s brand, it can feel a bit overwhelming — sometimes simpler is better. That said, this isn’t a reflection of this specific location; it’s just the concept they’re known for.

Overall, 10/10 experience. Definitely worth another visit — no question about it.

Pros: close to our hotel so we could walk
Lots of variety on the menu
Big dessert menu
Pizza was delicious
Great customer service – cheese on a dairy free entree was fixed right away and we were immediately offered a free app while we waited for a new meal.

Cons:
While I can appreciate having a vegan cupcake option, and offering a local bakery’s items … They’re not worth $10each. Not even close.
The drinks were disappointing. I ordered the margarita flight that tasted like it was all syrup and a second cocktail that was disappointing at best.

Lots of good options on the menu. I can eat keto here without the usual pushback when i want to substitute out the carbs. They have options like cauliflower pizza crust and lettuce wrap tacos and burgers. Never had a bad meal here. Our waiter was probably the best I’d had in years. Very attentive, never an empty glass, knowledgeable, and patient with the kids.

We visited on 11/7 at 1:37. Since I’ve ordered the quesadilla twice before, I expected it to be the same. It’s usually delicious but this one was burnt. I did not finish it or take the extra home. The waitress seemed too busy. I didn’t want to be that person who complains about the food in the restaurant, and esp online, but I called the management number four times and left a msg with no callback. This review reflects how our visit went and maybe I will get a response. Receipt 40007. Thank you

We always enjoy coming here. Ironically, we come for the variety, but tend to get the same things, because we know they’re great. This time, tried burgers for a change, which were good. Thought we’d treat ourselves to a cupcake, too, thinking of the NoRA cupcakes they used to have, but the Party Time cupcake we had was dry and not very flavorful. Our server Liliana was very nice. We’ll be back, like always.

Hubby got the French dip. The roast beef was so dry. It was inedible.
I had the butternut squash soup bowl, that wasn’t to bad.

A Must-Visit Restaurant in Glastonbury!

Maggie McFly’s in Glastonbury is one of my favorite places to dine! The atmosphere is warm and vibrant, with a unique charm that sets it apart from typical chain restaurants. The menu has something for everyone—comfort food, healthy options, and creative twists on the classics.

Every time I visit, the service is top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring guests have a great experience. My meal was cooked to perfection, and the presentation was just as impressive as the taste.

Whether you’re visiting from out of town or a local looking for a reliable go-to spot, Maggie McFly’s is a five-star experience all around.

Warm regards,

We came here for the first time on the evening of June 7th to celebrate my birthday before going to see the back to future musical. We were excited by the extensive menu but very disappointed in the quality of the food. Everything LOOKED good but appearances were deceiving. We started with the egg roll sampler appetizer- we couldn’t tell one from the other and most of the sauces were watery. One looked like corned beef inside which wasn’t listed and the Philly cheesesteak ones were missing unless they were the corned beef looking ones. So we decided since the appetizer was bad it just meant we had room for dessert. For entrees- My husband got the pretzel burger which was pretty decent with the mac and cheese as a side which was passable but not exciting. I ordered the tortellini with broccolini. This proved to be a mistake. The tortellini were over boiled. Soggy and mushy. The broccolini on the other hand seemed raw not even steamed and with no flavor whatsoever. I barely picked at my entree but instead shared my husband’s. So we decided we would each order a giant cupcake for dessert. I got the PB chocolate and he got the vanilla birthday cake. First off, for $10 each they were not giant cupcakes. They were about the size you’d get a bakery. Large cupcakes with a lot of icing. Unfortunately the icing was over sweet and the cupcakes themselves severely dry almost stale tasting. It seemed maybe they had been frozen and then thawed. Either way we didn’t eat more than a few bites before asking for our check. This was not at all the type of meal we were happy to pay $100 for- we probably would have been happier with sonic. We won’t be returning to this location and probably not to the chain as a whole.
