We stopped by The Lake House at Discovery Green hoping to grab some carbonated water, but to our surprise, they didn’t have any brand available—not even the basics. What they did have was a selection of overpriced snacks and chips that didn’t really justify the cost. The location is nice, but the options were disappointing. Wouldn’t go out of my way to stop here again unless the menu improves.

To star with, the cashier was unsympathetic and had bad manners, no intention of providing quality service.
When the food arrived, it had no flavor or quality. The sodas were disgusting, had a strong chlorine taste, made me sick.

Service was horrible, man at the counter acted like he was so inconvenienced by everyone ordering. Burger was mod and way too expensive. Fries themselves being $10!! Luckily, that was the only good thing on the menu.

Thought this place would be a good idea for a quick snack/lunch for my daughter before a competition. The burger is chewy/rubbery. Tastes like a pre made frozen burger. No taste. The cheese is shredded cheddar. The fries were ok. She took one bite and we threw the rest away. Don’t waste your $.

I can’t rationalize purchasing anything from here now that the prices have inflated and the menu shrunken beyond belief.
It’s incredibly capitalistic and disgusting to have overpriced basic items. Fries shouldn’t be 10.50. Go to Phoenicia down the street or bring an entire picnic before you come to Discovery Green.

Ate here for lunch a couple days during a recent conference. Did not have any issues with my orders. Tasty food for an exceptional price compared to the rest of the area. It was very quick both instances and the staff was friendly. I like my fries a little less crunchy so if you like crunchy fries they probably aren’t for you. Nice they have all the condiments just available for you to grab without asking.
