We ordered an ice cream birthday cake for my grandson’s birthday and the cake was really hard to cut and it’s just didn’t taste fresh so I called the manager Ali and she washed very friendly and professional and she apologized for the cake and she let us pick another one. The second cake was just right. It was easy to cut and it tasted great and I’m very grateful to her, our grandson’s birthday was still great. She assured me that she wanted us to have a great birthday and that if I wasn’t pleased with the second cake she would gladly remake it again now that’s what I call excellent customer service! We will definitely get our next cake from there.

I have been a long time customer of Cold Stone. We were excited when we saw one wasn’t far from our new home. I have typically enjoyed the young people’s positive attitudes, hard work ethic and most cold stones seem like a fun place for a first job in high school.

But after a few visits to the surprise location I will be taking my business elsewhere. Last night was the final straw.

I came in around 8:30 pm, it has a small line, the slab surfaces were filthy, and the employees looked disheveled. I get that.

I addressed the employee trying to show empathy and said, “busy night?” He said in a grumpy tone, “ wasn’t supposed to be, what do you want?”

A little put off I decided to not push for two different flavor milkshakes and made it easier on him to make two of the same flavor in the same blender. He huffed and puffed around with an attitude.

Then he didn’t even fill them up. At this point the very least I expected was to receive the product I am paying a premium price for, but I didn’t even get that. Guess he underestimated how much he needed for 2 and thought it was sufficient. See photo.

Yeah, I’m done with surprise location. BTW, if you can make it to the Peoria location on happy valley and lake pleasant, they really are happy and pleasant and I usually leave a generous tip for their great customer service.

Only tip surprise is getting is to shape up and manage your store better.

Terrible service from the rude staff anytime we have gone in. We have also done personal pickups off of door dash and Uber eats and they will also mess up on order sizes. When we were waiting for our order the female workers were actively trying to deny a birthday freebie, funny enough the person who had their birthday apparently also works at a cold stone and called them out on their BS. That as long as you have the coupon or even display your I.d you are entitled to the freebie, the girl behind the counter gave a horrible attitude acting as if it was out of her way to comp the one ice cream. Honestly wouldn’t suggest this location untill they don’t have entitled young staff

I had went on Friday and was treated INCREDIBLY kindly by a lady working, she was a bright person and made a fantastic ice cream! She recognized the people walking in and then told them goodbye when they left! She was incredible with her customer service and made my night! I wish she had a name tag so I could direct this to her but thank you for the incredible ice cream young lady! (Darker hair)

I love Cold Stone Creamery usually. I love the sweet cream ice cream. My hubby went to share a Sweet cream Love it with Heath and Reese’s peanut butter cup. It looked like sweet cream as the pictures show without any mix. You can only see one two candy pieces, it was this way until the bottom. It was not mixed well. If you are going to pay $7 for a cup of ice cream it should be mixed well especially when it was not busy. The staff was nice, but should have took more time to give a well made dessert. I can buy Blue Bell for that price or cheaper, and have it last longer and taste the mix ins in each bite.

Yesterday I ordered my favorite ice cream from Cold Stone Uber eats. I called to ask if they can add extra caramel and strawberry because I’m sick and I want some more flavor. When I received my ice cream at home I saw the note in the bag. This made my day and showed me no matter where you work but if you do your best you delivery your best. I don’t know the name the attendant but I want say THANK YOU SO MUCH! Keep going you have a brilliant future.

I paid for 2 quarts of their signature creations online for a pickup order. When I got home and opened them, one was about half full and the other one was about 3/4 full. This isn’t the first time either. Thought I would give them another chance, only to feel ripped off again. I have worked for a cold stone out of state and I understand their formulas and the importance of not giving someone a gotta have it size when they pay for a like it size. But only giving someone a half quart when they paid for a quarts is ridiculous. Past experiences with cold stone (not this location obviously) was all about customer satisfaction. Sad to see that this is what it’s all about now.

Now i’m not an ice cream or cold stone expe rt but this new treat or treat does not look like what they are advertising. My entire mouth is pitch black and so are my hands. My stomach started hurting after a few bites. Absolutely horrible.

I know the price of cold stone is more than other places, but the inside of this place was disgusting. And honestly, I didn’t notice it until I was sitting and looking around. It looked like someone chewed on the wallpaper because they didn’t have enough ice cream. I went to the bathroom and the bathroom was rough. The door to the back kitchen area was ajar and I saw water all over the floor, which is a huge issue . Why was there water all over the floor? It was a big puddle!
They need to clean this place up . There were still stickers advertising Father’s day (right now it’s right before Labor day). The place looks run down. I just hope we don’t get sick.

We visited last night about 20 min prior to closing. The young lady who served us had a horrible attitude. I ordered a gotta have it and she half filled the container. We asked for kids and she threw them up on the counter… I understand being tired but you chose this job and you shouldn’t take it out on your customers no matter how bad your day is!
