We had breakfast at La Boucherie since we were staying at the hotel, and the décor is really nice and elegant, but the best part is the incredible DTLA views from the 71th floor. It made for a beautiful breakfast experience. The restaurant does get very crowded, and we waited about 30 minutes to be seated, but that’s expected during peak breakfast hours. Even with the rush, the staff was attentive. We’re already planning to come back for sunset.

Stayed in hotel Christmas 25. Chose the breakfast package which incl $44 per person breakfast credit. Barely enough to cover one breakfast entree and cup of coffee. They incl 18% tip. Service was excellent. Most dishes were good, not sure if $38 entree good. Don’t get the kimchi risotto. You have to make a reservation and the earlier the better. Long lines at 9:30am which is their cut off time.

Great selection of fine dining options and the salmon friend had the steak we shared some side dishes. There’s a nice bar drinks. Be sure to go upstairs to spire 73 and enjoy the view is the access via elevator from the bottom.

Great wine selection with prices to match the views!

We visited La Boucherie during our stay at the Intercontinental DTLA over Thanksgiving. Once for dinner, twice for breakfast.
Located at the 71st floor in the Wilshire Grand Center, right above the IHG lobby. Use the hotel car parking (entrance at 7th Street) and get your valet ticket (with a time limited credit validation). Elevators will bring you up to almost 1000 ft above ground. This is the tallest skyscraper on the West Coast. You are in for a treat with breathtaking views of DTLA and the megacity at day and during night.
Stylish, luxury steak and seafood restaurant with large floor to roof window fronts. Staff at the front desk, ushers, and all waiters welcoming, highly polished, very attentive and helpful. Seating at tables and at the bar. Fully accessible by wheelchair, no obstacles.
Great menu with clear indications for dietary restrictions, excellent wine list of 1200+ bottles. Good recommendations and explanations from our host(s).
The place was very busy during breakfast times. Recommendation to take a reservation if you wish to avoid a long waiting time. Reasonable time of being served after placing your order even when all tables were occupied.
All dishes from appetizers, to mains, sides, and desserts were nicely plated. Tasty, flavorful, great food.
Indeed a pinnacle of LA dining, whether while visiting or for a special celebration. Highly recommended!
My usual points & miles tip: stack your benefits / credits.

I had breakfast twice here and couldn’t get enough of the view and delicious food. Try French toast, it’s the best French toast I ever had.
It’s a high end place, so rather expensive. Around ~$80 bill for one person breakfast (just one meal and a coffee). But it is worth it if you are here on a business trip or want to treat yourself. The staff is super friendly as well. Highly recommend if your budget affords it.

What a truly disappointing dinner experience. First of all, I have to praise all the staff for being hardworking and incredibly attentive. That’s about where the good things end. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated after having a reservation. The food was incredibly disappointing, the NY strip was overcooked and dry while the lamb was undercooked. The rib eye was the only one cooked correctly. What made our experience absolutely intolerable was that we visited during a day where sports fans were gathering in mass for an event. And some of these fans chose to dine here, yelling. howling, and literally barking during the entire dinner service. There was no general manager or floor attendant to speak to or ask them to quiet down. This was unacceptable and absolutely ruined the nice ambience the restaurant had. Out of all the other nice steakhouses nearby, La Boucherie had the worst food/ atmosphere with the most expensive prices. I do not recommend.

I’m really disappointed with my experience at La Boucherie this morning. I had actually come back after having breakfast there because I just needed a simple cup of ice. I explained that we had just been there, and that my husband was downstairs checking out — I only needed a cup real quick.

The lady in the pink suit completely ruined the interaction. Her response was, “you can get ice on your floor,” delivered with a nasty attitude. There was no courtesy, no willingness to help, and absolutely no attempt at basic customer service. After I still said “thank you,” she gave me the dirtiest look.

For what presents itself as a high-end establishment, this kind of behavior is unacceptable. If you’re going to be in the service industry, at least pretend to be pleasant. It costs nothing to be polite, and one person’s attitude can overshadow an otherwise decent visit.

We had a breakfast here and it was a disaster. Came here at 9:30, ordered our food after a few minutes but didn’t get any food until 11. It took them more than an hour and a half to make a simple omelette.

The food and drinks were bad as well. The latte tasted like it only contained milk and their cappuccino was exactly the same as latte – nobody could tell the difference (I think they just gave me two lattes).
The waffle was too dense, and not crispy at all.
The omelette was okay, but it’s really hard to make a bad omelette anyway.

Can’t imagine that it’s a $50+ per person breakfast. Will NEVER NEVER come back again.

Ambiance of the restaurant was nice so I invited my friends to join me for breakfast while staying in the hotel. It has the most amazing view!!
Avocado toast, omelette were good. Just expensive.
If you like a luxurious brunch with a nice view, this restaurant is for you.

Great experience for a formal and fun girls night out in honor of our friend! Also pretty pricey, so this is more for the experience and memories than the food. Some of the food was a bit heavy/oily; but we had a great time. Our least favorite was one of the fish dishes
