I’m from the Deep South of Mississippi and I love some southern foods. I’ve been wanting to try this food for a while now. I got her southern greens and they were so good. They had so much flavor. I could eat those all day. I also had the Pernil and it was good but had a lot of fat in my order. The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because I order the fried fish and it was either old or overcooked. It was not good at all. I had to throw it away. Other than that those greens were so freakin good. I’ll definitely be back for those and to try some cornbread with them. Edit: so I’m updating my review to 5 stars because I ate here again and it was just amazing. I can look past the fried fish because we all have our bad days. The greens alone here are worth 5 stars. Then I ate the oxtail in gravy and they were amazing. So good and tender.

I will never order from here again! I ordered mac and cheese, chicken tenders and banana bite cornbread. I was looking forward to the bites t I’ve enjoyed them before.
Where do I start?
The Mac and cheese was overly greasy with no flavor. The chicken tenders weren’t cooked all the way through. I don’t enjoy eating undercooked chicken. The cornbread bites – the biggest disappointment of the whole meal. Mold. Mold. Mold. I guess they don’t quality control before sending out the door.
They have lost my business for good.
Update –
It appears that the owner can not distinguish mold – pretty scary. The last photo shows where exactly the mold is on THEIR product. Based on their below response, I will definitely not eat here again and will not suggest this restaurant to anyone. As a business owner – a simply I’m sorry goes a lot further than attacking someone for what they received as goods from their establishment.

I LOVE this vendor! She always has some very tasty dishes! I love getting the different empanadas! So good and good prices.
Huge variety of different things to eat! I recently got a red velvet cake egg roll here that was phenomenal.
The woman who is always working is just super nice! On a few different occasions she gave my young son a juice box (no charge), and then another when I went back to buy another. My son calls her the pretty lady lol

Update: Apparently the owner has decided to “attack” me. What happened to the customer is always right? I specifically stated I wanted to give more stars. I specifically ordered from here because I read great reviews. Unfortunately the food was awful. Read her comment, see what kind of person she truly is. It’s truly sad when you can’t even post an honest review without being targeted. Pictures to come of the dried up crab meat.
Just wanted to add, I’m sure the Mac and cheese is good. I don’t doubt that. It just happened to arrive cold. I’m sure it would have been great if it was hot.
My boyfriend said if I ever order from here again to just get the potatoes from the boil, that was all he liked. I would like to give them another chance but go and get it fresh from the farmers market instead of ordering delivery.
Wish I could give more than 1 star, but I ordered the seafood boil and everything was dry and overcooked. The seafood salad had no taste. The potato salad was OK once I got passed the initial overwhelming taste of something that made my tongue tingle.
The best thing I had was the Mac and cheese and that’s solely because it actually somewhat tasted OK. It was very bland and cold though.

Absolutely terrible. We ordered fried chicken, green beans and ham, Mac n cheese and 2 different empanadas. The chicken was over fried, the beans and ham were too salty to stomach, the Mac n cheese was dry and the empanadas spit grease everywhere when you take a bite.

On your reply please do not blame the driver for your food not being to par. One the food was cold ok blame driver gotcha. But as from stratch I’m sorry in my 25 years as a cook and chef i have never seen stratch gravy look taste or smell like that unless it came from a can or and gravy mix!!! And please do not defend my opinion of your food as i see it there a reason for a google reveiw.
P.s a great person once said if you need to respond then there is some merit to the comment.
Doesn’t matter who flavor or what culture you use as a influence there only one way to make a mother sauce or its subs sauce what you sent was not even close

Goorrrrrrllllll. This food is absolutely ON POINT. The mac n cheese….nobody can touch that, i have never had mac n cheese that darn good. Lawwwd. The spanish rice, so simple yet so flavorable and just UGH so good. Dont even get me started on the empanadas, i got the beef n cheese, and the chicken. Lemme just tell you, keep doing what youre doing, because holy cow that was the best meal ive had in a very long time.
The portions were bigger than i thought and i am so thankful because i cannot get enough. I will definetly be a forever returning customer for more of that good cookin! Props to you Dee, you deserve it.

I e never had Mac and cheese so flavorful!!! 10/10 I’ve been here twice and I’ve tried a couple of things.

Meatballs 7/10
Pork and cheese empanada 7/10

Stopped by her stand and was blown away by the selection! Girrrrrl you have it all!!
We grabbed a variety of empanadas, burritos, chicken, pernil and rice with gandules.
