gluten-free and dairy-free people, come here ! i love pizza but usually my dietary restrictions hold me back. i was pleasantly surprised to find out that this place not only had gluten-free crust (usually not too hard to find now in cities) but also vegan cheese ! and bonus that there was no up-charge for the cheese substitutions (there was for the gf crust).

it was so cozy in here, i loved being sat next to the oven. our server was really personable and was helpful with recommendations. she was also really attentive and informed about the substitutions i was making. overall this allowed me to have a great experience. the pizza was yummy ! good local cover options too.

I’ve driven past this place a couple times and wanted to try it. It always looked busy and finding parking (I’m cheap and dont wanna pay) was usually the deal breaker. But tonight was different! I was in the area for a late dinner around 8:00pm and 2 of the 4 or 5 spots behind the building were open. Walked in and it was only about 1/4 capacity, got a seat right away at the bar. I usually go with the features when trying somewhere for the first time but I was in a vegetarian mood and both the feature pasta and feature pizza were meat heavy. The bartender / server recommended the “farmers market” pizza as her favorite veg option so I went with that. Neopolitan style with a crisp but chewy crust that wasn’t too thin or soggy in the middle. It had broccoli, potato, beets, spinach, and goat cheese on it. Very good ratio of toppings / sauce Little wood oven char around the edge was perfect! The location 2 blocks away from main street kinda makes it a local hidden gem. I’ll definitely be back to try a pasta.

Went twice, and everything was phenomenal. Their lunch special is a great deal, the views are lovely the wood fired oven gives it a nice warm ambiance, and the service is wonderful. I got the apple chicken pizza with their ranch and it was maybe one of the best pizzas ive had. I loved the crust. I’m sure I’ll be back, as there are still 3 more pizzas i have to try!!!

The place has a great vibe overall. They have variety of vegetarian options as well.

We tried Cheesy Garlic Flatbread and Dip – which was good. We also tried Create your own veg pizza – the pizza was tasty but the crust could have been better.

Overall it was a great experience. The service was also decent. The location is great though, with free street parking nearby.

A great place for flatbread. We ordered the Parma and Mediterranean, and both were excellent. Waiting can run 20 to 30 minutes after ordering, even when it’s about half full, but otherwise it was always good to visit the Rocky Mountain Flatbread company.

And of course, the view can’t be beaten!

Had a really great time here last night, the food was delicious and the toppings felt fresh, there’s options for everyone. We also had the feature soup which was also really tasty! Our server Stephanie was amazing also. Yes the pizza prices are a bit elevated, however it is a smaller tourist town so considering what the other options in the area are, I found it to be reasonable for what you received. Beers etc are actually comparable to regular prices elsewhere. Overall, it’s a family business, foods great, vibes are amazing, the only bad thing I have to say is that they aren’t big enough for the crowds they get!

The best pizzas in Canmore and Banff!
We’ve ordered Farmers Market pizza GF and shrimp GF, both were tasty and delicious. Surprisingly, farmers was our fav, full of vegetables, with goat cheese that just added the perfect plus. The shrimp pizza was also really good, but not as tasty as farmers.
The GF base was thin and crunchy.
Staff is helpful and friendly.
We will come back!
They have also GF beer option available.

When I was in Atlanta, a local told me “if they got grass on the walls, you’re gonna have a bad time”. Grass walls aside, I wouldn’t necessarily say I had a bad time, however for the price point it did not meet expectations. ($50 for one appetizer and one regular flatbread, and 2 sodas) The Appetizer was unexpectedly a cold dish, any whipped feta I have had in the past was not a disassembled cold dish, maybe that is just a me problem? The small toasts provided were hard as a rock and a workout to chew through.. Moving forward, the center point of the establishment is its wood fired pizza oven, and it is a beautiful sight for sure and provides a good ambiance! I was excited to try the flatbread pizza after seeing this oven and smelling the great wood burning smell! The flatbread pizza was average, definitely they did not skimp on toppings, but nothing seemed particularly fresh or outstanding. I was disappointed to see the pizza dough was barely cooked through on the bottom and quite floppy despite the impressive oven on sight. It was not BAD but definitely I felt like I had stumbled into a tourist trap. Service was speedy and polite enough.

Had lunch here with a group and couldn’t be happier with our choice! The pizzas were truly gourmet quality – you can taste the difference in ingredients and preparation. What really stood out was the staff – they were incredibly accommodating which created such a welcoming atmosphere.
The restaurant has a fantastic vibe that makes you want to linger. Even though they were clearly busy, our server kept our water glasses full and made sure we had everything we needed.
Their garlic cheesy bread is perfect – just the right amount of garlic with plenty of cheese, and you can get it with red sauce or ranch on the side. Rocky Mountain Flat Bread delivers on both food quality and hospitality.

One of the best bagels I’ve ever tried crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. We ordered the salmon and ham bagels, and both were delicious. The view is unbeatable, with mountains surrounding you in beautiful Canmore. The place can get quite busy and crowded, but we still managed to find a seat and enjoy our bagels.
