My initial visit on 9/5/25 was not pleasant and resulted in me walking out and leaving a 1star review.

On Sunday 11/16/25, I was invited back for another visit, after management reached out concerning my first experience. Thank you to Jim V whom instructed me to return and ask for Kaylee, this visit was definitely a better experience.

Kaylee was the sweetest, helpful and impressionable. She provided the engaging service that was originally missing. After walking me thru the menu and even providing some of her personal suggestions, Kaylee helped me select a couple of items to try.

Thank you Kaylee.

Based on my second experience, I am now inclined to give Amorino Gelato another chance when in the area again for a broadway show.

Just A Note:

I hope that my future experience is just as good if not better than my experience as an invited guest.

Horrible Experience!

Stopped in after a broadway show. It was 10pm on a Friday, nonetheless given the location it was pretty crowded with a continual flow of traffic.

I wish I could rate the Gelato but I never had the opportunity to get any. Every employee was dismissive, no customer service or engagement. As I attempted to ask questions for guidance after waiting on the line. I was told I had to get off the line and order at the kiosk. When I said I’m not sure what I would like, again I was told go to the kiosk.

Multiple employees, no eye contact and no interests in assisting or truly communicating anything besides go to the kiosk. Crazy, because the gentleman outside offering samples was so pleasant and the reason why I entered in the first place.

Just A Note:

If you are not familiar with their menu or how they operate DO NOT waste your time because the employees couldn’t care less about any questions you may have or about truly helping.

Cozy, rustic gelato shop with warm wood beams and a charming, well-lit case packed with unique flavors. The space feels inviting and unhurried—perfect for lingering with a cup. The staff were incredibly sweet and patient while I sampled and decided, walking me through their favorites and how the flavors are made.
I landed on hazelnut-chocolate, pistachio, and tiramisu. All three were silky and dense and blended beautifully in one cup—each bite balanced but distinct. It’s the most incredible gelato I’ve ever had, and the cozy atmosphere makes it even better. I’m already planning a return visit!

Really good gelato! Tastes very creamy and rich 🙂 loved the service Nicky and Kaley gave me. Asked both in flavor recommend as well as best flavors combo. Definitely must come back for the affogato and try.

Gelato: smooth, very flavorful! Presentation was so good especially with a cone.

Macarons: my favorite was the pistachio, chocolate and the pear hibiscus flavors.

Customer service was excellent! Everyone was so nice. Definitely recommend

We are Amorino enthusiasts and have tried it in different countries. Not every store has the same flavors. This one has some of the best flavors and tastes, and the presentation is beautiful.

I was disappointed to see that Amorino in NY Times Square no longer serves their hot chocolate in a classic Italian way, despite countless images and descriptions around the location displaying thick, creamy hot chocolate meant to be eaten with a spoon. The hazelnut hot chocolate that I ordered was thin and soupy, completely unlike reviews of this location I’ve seen in the past, showing the hot chocolate’s pudding-like texture. The employees at the counter told me that hot chocolate here is no longer served that way, but the ads haven’t reflected this change.

Cute little find but not little on the quantity and the quality of the ice cream you get here. Everyone needs to stop by Atleast once and try their amazing flavors.

Great gelato shop. The flower serving style is so pretty, but they dont do that if you order a cup. The selection is wide. We ordered a classic size with four flavors. Macaron is such a cute topping! I always order pistachio flavor gelato whenever I go to a gelato place, but the pistachio at this place was a let down. I didn’t taste the nutty flavor. But tiramisu was great! And so was blueberry cheese cake. One thing I didn’t like was that the order had to be placed before you get to the display case of all the gelato. I like looking at the selections while I order mine, but I had to do it on a ordering machine, and i didn’t feel as excited to choose my flavors as I placed the order. Part of the fun for this kind of place is to see what you are getting right in front of you. I understand this is for efficiency, but disappointing nonetheless.
