Absolutely love this place. I’ve been a few times, trying different menu items each time. Every meal has been delicious! Went for my birthday with a large group of 20, the service was great, lovely friendly people. Everything came out quickly and they’re really attentive. I’ve been recommending going to everyone because it’s just so good.

After years of visiting Takumi, it remains our absolute favorite.
The staff are lovely, and the kitchen continues to level up on both flavor and presentation—the bento boxes, in particular, are fantastic, and seem to have had a presentation change recently, improving the experience even more.
Easily the best spot in the area; honestly, I couldn’t find a flaw if I tried. Highly recommended!

Possibly the best Japanese food in Swansea! We had two bento boxes, with some gyoza,l which were absolutely amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was lovely.

Had a great meal at a great price, came away feeling very full and satisfied. Staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough.
Only downside was someone left the tap on in the bathroom and it dropped through the ceiling onto our table. Was not the restaurant’s but they moved us and apologised. The experience was great and will definitely be going back

We visited Takumi in Brynmill to celebrate my brother’s birthday and had a lovely meal.
Service was excellent and the staff were very friendly, especially with the children.
Highly recommend the Pheonix sushi roll and the Duck rice bowl. They also serve hot sake, which is a great way to share a little tipple!
A little bit of music would have been nice for the atmosphere, but we couldn’t fault the experience otherwise – will return in future!

Great place for lunch. The sushi platter and tempuras were good (particularly the mango selection sushi) while the unagi hand roll was delicious. The staff was amiable and on time, great service.

Lovely meal at Takumi this evening. They fitted us in without us booking (they were very busy even early evening on a Tuesday!) and the food was fab! Great portions and lovely flavours. The staff were really friendly too. We had a great time!

Best sushi in town ! The chef is a former “Wasabi” chef and if you remember the old Wasabi in uplands you know how good that place was !
The quality and craftsmanship of the sushi is the best around the area by far !
Worth a try ! I would recommend coming in rather than ordering online to get the full experience.
