This is the combined El Balcon & Brem Burgers location. It’s a walk-up window on the sidewalk where you order. There are two picnic tables you can sit at to eat.
The burgers (and the pupusa’s) are good , but be sure to get a double, the patties are very small. Thick cut fries and a unique fry sauce are also good.

I got a double bacon cheeseburger. Pretty good. Meat was well seasoned and not over cooked. Bun was plain and dry though. Fries were not salty enough though.

Went here for dinner and got three doubles with fries. Everything was cooked perfectly. Probably our favorite burger in the area so far. Fries were hot and fresh and everything was still perfect after the drive home. Prices were a bit high in my opinion, but where are they not these days? Definitely recommend giving them a try!

The first thing to note is that if you haven’t been to this place, beware that there is no signage. Just look for the 326 street number, and you will find a window for receiving orders.
I ordered the combo #2, which is a double burger with fries and a can of soda. The good fries were crisp and lightly salted. The burger, however, was as average as average can be. There was nothing wrong with it, but there wasn’t anything special either. To its credit, it wasn’t super greasy like some burgers are.
The order taker was friendly. Note that there is no dine-in service.

Got the combo #2 double patty. Burger was decent but very messy. The special sauce that comes with the burgers is pretty good. Big fat potato fries….not my favorite but can’t knock em for it. They were not too salty or oily which is nice. Pricing and quality similar to Fritz.
Overall: Yup….its a burger. Probably get lunch there every once in awhile

A new smash burger joint in the old El Balcon location, sign me up! The burger came with grilled onions, special sauce and cheese. It looked good and tasted good. The fries were freshly fried but weren’t soaked in oil or overly salty. Overall it was pretty good and brings some diversity to the downtown food options. The portions aren’t very big, but with all the inflation and issues going on, it was decently priced.

Grilled lettuce = ….not sure …. So confused…. Why… Oh Lord… Why!!!??!!!!!
Frozen patties from Costco do not make a smashed burger. I only gave the food a second star because the family that runs El Bacon is so rad. They can do better.
After the Hamburger Wars have begun…..
