Alas, the dinner menu is tired with few options and only one special of the day. For a Four Seasons, they need to rethink the smoke house concept which is very limiting and move to a new fun concept.
Also, both fries and onion rings are frozen. Why?
A new concept would bring more business as well. Restaurant was near empty which explains the turnover of servers.
We head to Talavera next and hoping for an amazing experience.
However, the service can be very inconsistent. The wait time for food varies a lot depending on the time of day. Early mornings, lunch, and dinner all seem to have different delays, and sometimes the wait can feel unusually long. Aside from the burgers, some of the other dishes just don’t taste as good or as well-prepared as expected.
Another thing I didn’t love was seeing very young and skinny servers carrying extremely large trays with multiple heavy orders balanced on their shoulders . it looks unsafe and uncomfortable for them.
The salad portions also change depending on when you visit, which feels inconsistent for a restaurant of this level.
Overall, the view and the burgers make it worth a visit, but there’s definitely room for improvement in food consistency and service operations.
(Sorry on the pictures…already took a bite)
