Found this place on a slow Sunday night and it turned out to be a lovely Indo-Nepali spot. The momos were the highlight, and the Veg Chowmein had a nice lo-mein style flavor that we enjoyed even though we usually prefer Hakka. The Chicken Thukpa was warm and comforting on a chilly evening. The Nepali Festive Thali looked great and tasted good—simple but nice. Really appreciated the personal touch in the service and the way they explained the dishes. Good portions and well-prepared food. A cozy place for Indo-Nepali flavors in NJ!

I’ve passed this particular restaurant quite a few times and I finally found the opportunity to check it out this evening. My sister and I do not mind having some Indian cuisine every so often and this one is close to home so we thought why not give it a try. We came here on a Sunday evening around 6:00pm. The restaurant was empty and for some people an empty restaurant can be a bad sign but for us it turned out to be a good sign. We were greeted when we walked in and seated right away. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and attentive which I love because I love a restaurant that is welcoming. For an appetizer my sister and I shared the goat samosa which was served with tomato chutney. I enjoyed the goat samosa, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of the tomato chutney. As for my entree I wanted to try something different because butter chicken is always my go to when it comes to Indian cuisine. For my entree I got the Nepali Festive Thali(veg) which was a platter of rice, lentils, vegetable curry, mustard green leaves, black-eyed pea beans curry, pickles, chutneys, pappad, and it also came with gulab jamun with yogurt. We also ordered a side of garlic naan. I thought this entree was okay and I enjoyed the vegetable curry with the rice and the gulab jamun the most. Overall I will definitely be back. I’m glad I finally got to try this local Indian restaurant in my area.

Moksha Eats is a cozy local Indian eatery. The staff is very warm and welcoming. The food came out quick and warm. For an appetizer we had the goat samosa, which turned out to be quite tasty 7/10. For the entree I had the Nepali festive thali chicken and my sister had the veggie option. We both agreed the portion was generous and worth every penny. The only thing I would say is that I’d want a little more seasoning. Other than that 8.5/10. The garlic naan was a 7.5/10 cause it could’ve used a little more garlic, but that being said it was still yummy. Overall., moksha was a great spot to check out to satisfy my Indian cravings. I will definitely be returning.

I visited Moksha Eats for lunch, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The restaurant offers delicious Indo-Nepali cuisine and is very vegetarian-friendly, which made it a perfect choice for our meal.
We ordered the chilli momo, vegetarian thukpa, and the vegetarian Nepali thali. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The chilli momos were perfectly spiced, the thukpa was comforting and hearty, and the Nepali thali gave us a wonderful variety of authentic flavors. It was a great opportunity to experience true Nepali food, and Moksha Eats absolutely delivered.
Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy excellent vegetarian Indo-Nepali cuisine. I’ll definitely be returning!

I recently visited Moksha Eats and tried their chicken fried momo, and other items, and it was absolutely perfect. The momo had the ideal crisp on the outside while staying juicy and flavorful inside. The spices were well balanced, and each bite felt fresh and delicious. The service was smooth, the staff was welcoming, and the overall atmosphere made the meal even better. Definitely one of the best restaurants spots around in NJ, we highly recommended!

Brought here by a Nepalese friend. We had the Thali set, some Momo dumplings and some appetisers. The spice mix is interesting and has a mustard-like flavour. Nice and authentic!
