The food here is reasonably good. I specifically looked for the tamales, which they have. Very good except for the sweet sauce they put on it. I scraped off the sweet stuff and used the salsa instead. The cheese burrito was soggy and plain as we’re the rice and refried beans. I also ordered a tossed salad, and that contained a small amount of shredded lettuce and a few bits of diced tomatoes. The salad was brought to us after our meal was served.
I’d say that this is definitely not a place I’ll be visiting again.

My husband and I go here so often the waitress knows our entire order. They don’t even bring a menu. It’s always quick, delicious and filling. Never once had an issue for 15 years. We always chose to eat here other than any other Mexican restaurant in town. 10/10 recommend

I entered this restaurant and waited for five minutes. I saw two people who worked there and neither acknowledged me at any point. The service is clearly terrible, and the cleanliness is also lacking. No one cleaned these tables during the time I was waiting either.

You like cheesy Mexican food? This place will satisfy those queso cravings. Everything seems to come on a hot plate covered in gooey, delicious cheese. But maybe that’s just me ordering Chile rellenos, burritos, and other things I like, here. Margaritas are bottle mixes, but usually stiff enough to enjoy, and I’ve never left still feeling hungry. Large portions and smiles, every time.

On our way thru Andalusia stopped in when they first opened at 11:00am. Ordered steak fajitas for two – amazing and had flavor!!! And we didn’t have to wait to long for food long enough for them to cook fresh. Chips were hot and salsa had a little heat which was perfect. Our server Lorena was courteous, polite and drinks kept full.
I read some of the reviews prior and yes the restaurant is older but it was clean. As for having to be waited on – we had no wait but we did get there when they first opened. There was three waitress waiting for people to come in.
Thanks Old Mexico we will be back when we travel this way again. Very well satisfied.

This place is full of flavor. The fajitas were just the best ever…better than peppers and larumbas. The beautiful wife had the deluxe burritos and fully enjoyed it and the price was no where near what you would think. Well worth the drive. Don’t miss out on a great little place with great food friendly staff and ever better prices.

We waited a while to get seated, the place was at 1/2 capacity. The food wasn’t terrible, it was ok at best. The service was pretty bad. We got two cheese dips and by the time we saw the waitress to get more chips the dip was almost solid. The restaurant was a mess, there was a table near the bathroom that was absolutely wrecked the entire time we were there. Floor and table was pretty gross. They need another waitress or two and a busser.

Its unlike any Mexican restaurant I’ve been too it’s more a mom and pop place nice and quiet could use some cleaning and staff could be more attentive to their guest. Saw our waitress 1 time a cook brought out the food then had to wait for silverware. Only salt and pepper on the table no hot sauce and the chips and salsa weren’t fresh.
