We even purchased some fresh coffee beans from their wide selection. River Mill is truly a gem of a place! Rest assured we will be back!
I love the decor!
Have a honey lavender iced latte or a good old dark roast!
Friendly people! Clean and Cute!! Drive thru available!!
As mentioned, there is no ramp up to the porch. There is a restriction on space at this location. *The employees are willing to help people all they can! *The building is handicap accessible once someone is inside.
They are still in the process of finding a code acceptable way to get a wheelchair onto their porch.
Please try this shop when you are in the area!!!
When placing an order, we were notified that oat milk was the only non-dairy option available. For those with dietary restrictions, it’s good to know in advance; a few more alternative milks would have been welcome.
Curious to sample the offerings, my wife ordered a blended drink. It was decent, neither outstanding nor disappointing, a serviceable pick-me-up for a road trip afternoon. I, on the other hand, chose a matcha drink, which turned out to be the highlight of our visit. Smooth, vibrant, and just the right balance of sweet and grassy, it’s a drink we’d happily order again.
The coffee shop made for a pleasant stop on our journey. If you’re traveling through Nebraska with your passport in hand, it’s worth a visit.
Everything I have had on (and off) the menu is great. The food is great and the coffee is amazing. Their Americano (expresso and water) may very well be the best that I have ever had. The beans that they use have the perfect roast, they even time the pull of the espresso to make sure you get the absolute best quality shot.
There was one time that my coffee tasted a little different than I expected. The owner quickly asked what would make it better, then proceeded to make me two new variations of the same drink, just to ensure that I received the exact coffee experience I was looking for.
This coffee shop, nestled along the highway, in a small town in Northeast Nebraska rivals any of the city coffee shops I have called my favorite. If you are looking for coffee made by people (insert artists) who love coffee and people, make sure that this gem is on your list.
You can’t go wrong with the food either- the scones are so delicious, the breakfast burritos are a really good high protein option, the yogurt parfaits are a great lighter option.
