Encountered the owners son today and he called me a Bum. As he wanted to Argue with me how I wanted my Bagel cooked.
I want the world to know this kid is a liability his life experience is sad. As he continued to run his mouth
As I did run mine. And wen I left he came from.the back and wanted a physical altercation. Trust I would have gave it to him nicely folded up. God saved him today.
The owner did nothing.
So Youngman im far from a Bum im a business owner of a handyman and plumbing company. Man like you who even think about speaking like that in my company. Are unemployed on site. If any one else has experience this behavior from the owners son be careful.
I give this place no stars. And will not be back as a paying customer no more

So good we came back for more. Ordered the White Fish Bagel with everything and the Salmon, both were excellent but the White Fish won! San Carlos is lucky to have this place.
I was skeptical but they make great bagels! Good variety. Paid $2.50 for an everything bagel toasted with butter. Owners are friendly. Noticed bags of “day old” bagels for sale. Went next door for coffee and ate the bagel. I was pleasantly surprised to see the bagels had toppings on both sides. Soft and chewy with a good tooth. Went back to buy a bag of the day old for $4.50, a very good value and well appreciated by everyone at home.

Wide selection of bagels, spreads and sandwiches. Made my bagel pretty quickly. Inexpensive, at $4 for a regular bagel with cream cheese. There are better bagel shops out there, but for a quick fix of a warm, soft bagel, this place does the job!

I have had two experiences at this place and they never get my order right. This time I asked for 1 bagel sliced with two different cream cheeses and they charged me for two , the other time they dint take our order and gave us the wrong things eventually. Too busy to take proper orders too busy for any service . Just all round poor – I always feel scammed when I am here .

This was for my business trip up to San Francisco city for a good review bagel. Well I didn’t really think it was that good. I order everything bagel toasted with pastrami and Swiss cheese and lettuce, onions, tomato and cucumber. I thought it would be good but it felt almost like they rushed and it was somewhat stale. Maybe too busy? Anyway it’s not for me. Won’t be coming back next time.

Thoroughly surprised and impressed! We got the standard whipped cream cheese and salmon cream cheese with a few bagels too. It’s super fluffy, light, and smooth. I’d definitely come back here and pick up some more.

Customized my bagels, which was the good thing about this. Place is small and like a mom and pop kind of bagel place. Someone takes your order and delivers it to you while you wait. The place is tight and 1-2 tables outside and a little bench inside. Bagels were good though after customizing it to how I want! Instead of everything bagel I think they called it all in one. Still good and filling. Had to get latte elsewhere but worth it for a quick pick me up.

Bagels were delicious but crazy expensive. A mini bagel is $1, and if you want cream cheese, another $1? What the heck?
I got a brownie that I thought would be tasty, but it wasn’t even sweet. It was like a healthy brownie.
The other thing that scared me away was there was a homeless guy just chilling right where you open the door.

Excellent bagel place to grab a quick breakfast. They have tables, there is free street parking and they are close to a free parking structure as well.
