Great experience!!! We ordered a dinner set (free miso soup, traditional roll, signature roll and 2 sushi pieces). Friday before Labor Day was pretty empty. Cozy place at Amsterdam Ave. Definitely coming back!!!

Covid-29 has change the lives of many New Yorkers offering us less and less dining options. I was looking for sushi options to take my daughter out for her 11th birthday and stumbled across this cute little sushi place. The server was awesome he made every attempt to acomódate us. He wore a mask as he served and although no one was inside all of the chefs also wore mask. They had this small little outside space. Sushi Sushi offered a really good dinner special. The food was fresh and really good. My dislikes are more related to the surrounding area of the restaurant. I get that we have to adapt to the COVID-19 situation but the garbage bins around the outside dining make it unappealing to sit and eat. Also the bathroom was way too small and more like a combination of a utility room and bathroom. There should also be some better barriers for the outside dining where street parking is allowed. I only gave the 4 stars because of these issues. Other than these things this was a great experience.

Found this little sushi spot in Harlem and decided to run in for a quick meal and was very pleasantly surprised. Sushi in Harlem can be risky, but everything tasted fresh and really good. The lunch special was a great price. The music was good and so was the service. Will definitely go back.

So disappointed. My first time ordering as I’ve just recently moved into the neighborhood. Sushi tastes good, but there are so many little things that are wrong that it just ruined it for me. I asked for no wasabi. It’s there. There’s literally one big piece of ginger. For THREE ROLLS. And the veggie roll I ordered said it was tempura. It’s definitely NOT. I’m just sad bc I feel like the ingredients are quality. Smh won’t be ordering again.

I just had a very surprising experience with Sushi Sushi. I placed an order with Sushi Sushi and used their 20% Off Code. It was about 10:30 pm and I got a call about 20 minutes later and an employee said I couldn’t use the discount code because someone at my address had already used it (my roommate)
This restriction wasn’t clear on the menu that the restaurant provided. (I have included the menu pictures for reference) The employee said my food was ready but I could only get it if I paid $4 and some change to make up the difference of the discount. Since their menu didn’t specify this stipulation I asked if they could just send it and I wouldn’t use the code again. They said things like “we won’t budge on this” “we can cancel your order and refund you.” As a customer who was relying on this food for my night I was completely astonished at the unprofessionalism of this restaurant. I’m truly having a hard time communicating everything that happened.
After a few minutes the employee said that they couldn’t deal with me anymore because they had a bunch of other orders to deal with. (As someone who’s worked in restaurants for 8+ years I understand the stress and trouble something like this can be) I requested my food calmly but also stated I expected the discount and I was going to write a review explaining my experience. In response the employee said “well, it’s just be better if you canceled the order and didn’t write the review.” I responded that I was relying on the food and expecting it and without my consent the employee said that they were going to cancel my order and to have a good night.

DO NOT COME HERE. This place is EXTREMELY overpriced for what you’re getting. As a sushi lover and fanatic I was excited when I saw them post on instagram and realized they had a location not too far from me in Harlem.
I ordered takeout and got the Awesome Roll and the fish was OKAY at best. But to top it all off, I didn’t realize until I got home that there was only avocado on two out of eight pieces!! AND on the pieces with avocado they didn’t bother to put salmon like there’s supposed to be! Really sushi sushi?? $16 and you can’t spare a little avocado?! So I basically paid $16 for a spicy tuna roll. I know there are better, cheaper sushi places and I will not be back! Total rip off!!

I have been twice and will return. I prefer salmon sushi and sashimi and Igor offers a salmon plate that’s perfect, including a mango avocado salmon salad.
