One of the only and original country bars on island. Heavy military presence, lots of college and hella locals. Vibes are great, good drinks, and good people. Come honky tonk!
They don’t have food but they offer snacks!
Jimmy is an awesome dude who takes his job seriously and ensures the security of the establishment. All the bouncers are super awesome. Hurricane T is there. Can’t wait to start doing those slap shots again!
Brooke, Isaac, Makana, Austin are all super dope DJ’s.

WhiskeyDix is the best bar to call your home bar! I have been going since October 2024 and although I was hesitant at first not knowing what to expect, I was more than pleasantly surprised. There’s a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Alex, who I’ve come to know from becoming a regular, greets you with a smile and quickly calms any nerves you may have and really sets the tone that you’re in for a fun night! Inside is bigger than you’d think it is from the outside. There’s a dart area, pool table room, tables in the back, or seats and nooks nearer to the dancefloor. So you’re sure to find a spot that works for you.
I fell in love with the place so much that I decided to celebrate my birthday there with family and friends. I made a birthday reservation on their website for a table. Michelle quickly responded and helped me to plan things out and kindly answered the many questions I had. I had older family members who were attending that just had surgery, so I was concerned about their comfort. Michelle was more than accommodating and was very flexible with table placement, so they could enjoy watching all the dancing. Also, the staff was so friendly to me and my guests and also allowed us to bring our own cupcakes etc. to celebrate. My family was so impressed by the whole night that some of them have continued to go to Whiskeys on other nights on their own.
I highly recommend going to WhiskeyDix especially on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays when there’s free dance lessons. I honestly can’t speak highly enough of this bar from the atmosphere to the staff to the very reasonably priced drinks. If you’re on the fence about going… just do it! You won’t regret it!

This is hands down my favorite country bar to go to in Hawaii!! The atmosphere is friendly and inviting….especially if you’re lucky enough to be there on one of their monthly themed party nights! Such a blast!! If not, catch them on Wednesdays for free dance lessons or Thursdays for dollar beers. Either way, I feel like the staff goes above and beyond to make the experience of being there memorable and fun. If you haven’t been there yet, check em out! You won’t be disappointed!
