This place is amazing!! The entire staff was so friendly. Miss Earnestine was such a blessing. My wife and I were visiting from out of town and wanted the best soul food in Nashville and it was. Everything we had was over the top! Especially the sweet potatoes. I had the smothered pork chop, sweet potatoes and cabbage and my wife had meatloaf, Mac n cheese, and green beans. The cheese cake and peach cobbler was delicious! We will be back again! We highly recommend!

Walk through cafeteria type service. Everyone was welcoming and polite. Atmosphere was homey and pleasant. Price was about average. Food was absolutely amazing. Had different choices so the whole family could be happy and, by far, the best Mac and cheese I’ve EVER had at a restaurant!
It was around 2 when we stopped so right after the lunch rush and the tables were clean the floor was clean. Bathrooms could use she work but all in all the place was a hit with us!

Howard Jones (son) took our Thanksgiving order by phone with great customer service and with a joyful spirit. The Fried Turkey with the Cajun injections was seasoned throughout, the green, etc was delicious. Ms. Ernestine brought the food out to our car on a cart which was helpful for my Hubby (Michael Milliner). They fed so many people with FREE Thanksgiving meals in partnership with Bart Durham. The staff is Wonderful and they truly Love the Jefferson Street Community. Thank you All and God Bless the Kingdom Cafe Family ❤️

I can not say enough about how delicious the food was! I had baked chicken mac and cheese cream potatoes and cabbage everything was hot & seasoned to perfection the entire staff greeted me when I entered the restaurant…… I will definitely visit here again

There was a line waiting on their dressing , so I waited too. I almost left, I’m so glad I stayed . The food was fresh and hot and tasty. I had Mac & cheese, greens, cornbread, bake chicken & dressing.
All of it was delicious and fresh.
I ended up taking another plate with sides home.
Can’t wait to go back . I forgot to take pictures .
