Dim Sum Asian Bistro in Grandview is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels both modern and cozy. It’s the perfect spot whether you’re out for a casual lunch, date night, or dinner with friends.

The food is simply outstanding. Every dish comes out fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The soup dumplings are a must-order — perfectly delicate with rich, savory broth inside. The shumai and steamed buns are incredibly tender, and the pan-fried dumplings have just the right crisp on the bottom. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite.

What really sets this place apart is the consistency and attention to detail. The service is attentive without being intrusive, and the staff is always happy to make recommendations if you’re unsure what to try. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the menu offers something for everyone — from dim sum classics to hearty noodle and rice dishes.

Grandview is lucky to have a spot like this. If you love authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and a welcoming vibe, Dim Sum Asian Bistro should absolutely be on your list. I’ll definitely be back again and again!

We love Ty Ginger in Dublin, OH so we had to try their new second location Dim Sum Asian Bistro and WOW it was soo good. Better than Ty Ginger! Everything came out hot and tasted fresh/homemade. Nothing is too salty so you can tell they’re making it from scratch and not using anything frozen or premade. We ordered from the dim sum menu. They also have a drink menu with happy hour pricing, kids menu, vegetarian options menu and more “western style” fusion Chinese menu options. We ordered the: shrimp rice rolls, beef omasum (stomach), shrimp & cilantro dumplings, pork steamed buns, pork ribs with black bean sauce and taro, mapo tofu, century egg congee with fried donuts, shrimp stuffed tofu, and scallion pancakes. The pork stuffing in the steamed buns tasted like a northern Chinese style stuffing. They also offer a steam bun with BBQ pork stuffing if you’re more into that. All the servers were very friendly and attentive. The owner was there working too and checked in on us at one point too! We noticed they have a self service screen at the front entrance to order to-go if you don’t want to dine in. There’s table and booth seating with a full service bar and TV. Overall We LOVED our dim sum experience today! Congratulations on your grand opening and we hope to be back soon!

The food was great—every dim sum dish we tried was delicious and high quality.

What made the meal perfect was the excellent experience. The atmosphere was wonderful and felt very welcoming, and the service was fantastic. Our server was quick, polite, and attentive.

Highly recommend for a top-notch dim sum meal!

This new Dim Sum restaurant got authentic Cantonese food, Chinese entrees, and American Chinese food. I tried several items. Everything tasted not bad. Highly recommend the shrimp tofu and fish congee. These two items really impressed me.
The custard and pineapple buns are great. The soup dumplings were mediocre. The mango pudding was an awesome dessert without too much sugar. Their noodles and hot pot entrees looked attractive to me. Definitely will try them next time.
Servers were friendly. WiFi was fast. The room was clean and lovely. Happy hour and lunch specials were available. Entrees had a reasonable price, but the dim sum was a little expensive.

Brand new place in Grandview but its got a strong foundation since its the same owners as Ty Ginger.

Restaurant looks modern and clean, lots of seating and a nice bar at the back.

All the food is great, whether you want dim sum or a typical entree.

Got some dim sum and two entrees, which was more than enough food. Was all delicious and had plenty for leftovers.

Service was great, drinks were strong. Give this new place a shot!

We wanted to get som Dim Sum and we are so glad we stopped here. The food was a top quality, along with the service. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and helpful. Been to several Dim Sum restaurants on the west coast and I must sayDim Sun Asian Bistro ranks up with the best. We will be returning. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Came here early on a Sunday at 11, no wait. By the time we left (which we were kindly asked to vacate our spot after we finished eating likely due to the long wait) there was a bunch of people in line. I think there may be an hour dining time slot/limit, which not the biggest deal but also kind of puts a bad taste in your mouth after spending ~$30/person not including tip. Server was kind and service was pretty quick. The food was pretty traditional dim sum items, everything was tasty except the egg tarts (which I normally love, these tasted like straight up popcorn. Not butter, popcorn). It’s nice inside with full bar and free parking garage. Would recommend for those looking for dim sum, as there are limited options in Columbus, with the caveat that it’s slightly overpriced compared to normal DIMSUM.

Best dim sum in Columbus Ohio! I’ve been looking for one since I moved here in 2021 and it’s finally here. I can’t tell you the cost bc a friend treated me but I think it’s in the rocket side but everything was so delicious and fresh. The stuffed eggplant is probably favorite out of what we ordered but I love eggplant though. The chicken feet was flavorful not too salty and super soft and tender, slides off the bones. The intestines were also super yummy. Try it!

something was really off about this place. It was empty when we arrived, which I was willing to accept given the frigid temperatures. It took awhile for someone to service us which again I was willing to accept because I was defrosting. However, the food was off. There was no flavor to the dim sum, soup, steamed buns, or mango pudding. The mango pudding tasted straight up like plastic. I saw so many people posting about this place online and I had to try it but everything honestly tasted like nothing which made me think it was just frozen food. Very weird environment and very lackluster food. All the good reviews must be paid for. Don’t bother.

Great addition to Grandview Yard. The restaurant space is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. Quick service and amazing food. I’ve only had the chicken lo mein so far but everything looks really good. So glad to have this near where I work!
