I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Pines, and it was an incredible experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for the evening. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed.
The food was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was bursting with authentic Indian flavors, and you could tell that the ingredients were fresh and of high quality. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, the biryani was perfectly spiced, and the naan was soft and fluffy. I also loved the variety of vegetarian options available, which were just as delicious.
Overall, The Pines is a must-visit for anyone who loves Indian cuisine. The combination of excellent service, cozy ambiance, and mouth-watering food makes it a standout dining experience. I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!

The last time I went to The Pines was for my high school prom. Years went by and I just recently learned the bistro was open with an award winning chef so I had to check it out again! They have a fully stocked bar, a wide variety of food choices, and a wonderful staff. I’ve had a few items from the American menu and I can’t wait to dive more into the Indian menu as well. I highly recommend the crab stuffed mushrooms appetizer, the chicken sandwich or Reuben for lunch with those crispy waffle fries, and crab cakes or the ribeye for dinner! The Kung Pao Chicken from the Indian special board was delicious as well! Their Facebook account displays their wonderful weekly specials which include Monday Burger Nite, Taco Tuesday, Wing Wednesday, and Friday Ribeye night. Most of their specials include a side and a draft beer or fountain drink in the price! You can’t get a better deal in the area! I believe this is a hidden gem in Elizabeth City and I can’t wait for others to discover what a treasure it is.

We went here for Indian food, it’s no longer available because they lost their chief. I had fish and chips, was ok, husband had a really nice flavorful steak. Drinks were good, service was great.
