Stopped after RV Show for dinner. Not busy, slow wait service. Once order placed, waitress disappeared and others ignored my gesture for service. My husband enjoyed the dry rub rib slab.
Rib Tips were Gristle cubes, not meat and flavorless smoke. Strange. Sausage was Ok. The best item was the shrimp appetizer, of which we were shorted on the count. Waitress corrected. I asked for a whole Key Lime pie to go. “Oh I THINK we may have sold the last one.” She disappears again, returns with the bill. “What about the pie situation?” Oh yeah, we are out. I’m done. No return for me.

On the second visit to the vendor’s location, we decided to stop at this restaurant for lunch by friend’s recommendation. It’s a famous barbecue restaurant in the area. I always only go with either veggie or chicken sandwiches, so I ordered Cajun Chicken Sandwich with fries as a side. Also ordered boiled corn as it was very tempting. I like the way they served the sandwich. Actual sandwich had a chicken patty with fried onions in it which was different from any other sandwich. They served lettuce, pickles and tomatoes on the side. I liked both the sandwich and corn. Fries were okay but not great. Price was justified for the quantity of the food. Overall satisfied with the food and time spent.

I was in town for work and I called in a takeout order. Fried chicken and southern fried shrimp. When I came in to pick up my order I walked in to a warm, clean comfortable atmosphere. There was a large group at a table and a few small tables, but it wasn’t busy. I picked up my order, got back to the hotel and enjoyed an excellent dinner. The shrimp were amazing, and the chicken was delicious as well. I usually get ribs or brisket at Famous Dave’s. They do great chicken and shrimp too.

My wife and I have been here multiple times. We just got done with lunch there. Fantastic. Max was our server and he did an amazing job. Very attentive and professional. My wife had the ribs and I had the double stack cheeseburger.So delicious for both meals. Thank you very the great dining experience. Keep up the good work

I hadn’t been to Famous Dave’s in a while. I’ve always enjoyed their BBQ in the past, so I decided to stop in while passing through the area. Unfortunately, inflation and the pandemic seem to have really taken a toll on this place. Lunch was disappointing. I ordered the two-meat and one-side special and was served a sad, reheated rib and a burnt chicken thigh. I left hungry still. Definitely not the Famous Dave’s I remember. Never again.

I have never had drier, tougher ribs ever. They must have been sitting under a heat lamp for 2 days.

Burgers were really good however service was lacking. I NEVER post reviews that are poor about restaurants, but the service ruined what was supposed to be a good birthday dinner. Waitress never came to check on us after bringing us the food to which we did not get everything we ordered the entire meal. Could not flag her down seemed to be in the back a majority of the time and it was pretty dead in there. Cups were never filled and my kids cup was empty a few bites in to which I gave him my drink. Lastly, we had ordered a Al a carte kabob to go and we were charged for the full meal instead of the Al a carte to which we could hear staff in the back commenting on it after it needed to be fixed. I have been a waitress myself , I understand people have off days and things get busy, however waitress seemed more irritated then anything when we asked her for the food we never got during our meal to just take in a to go box. Again, great food but really disappointed in the service and lack of care when multiple mistakes were made and we never got checked until she was ready for us to pay.

I ordered 1/2 lb of brisket for $15. Disgusting. We noticed about 3 pieces were ok but 3 were not edible. You couldn’t bite into them. Like rubber or hard gristle. Nasty looking. No one could eat it. We bought a whole pumpkin pie too. It was a off colored and the filling had a texture like clay. Old and the batter taste like soap suds was in it. Smelled funny too. It was told to us by the manager named Jo , that its the least sold pie of them all. They get them from Baker Square or it used to be Bakers Square bought by FD. We ended up driving back for a refund. The Manager had a snug attitude. Not too nice really. I had talked on the phone with her concerning this matter. I showed her the meat. She gave no offer to replace with better pieces either. Just kept trying to key in the refund quietly. She finally could and gave the refund. I asked her: are you sorry about this? She said: I apologized before to you. I said we had to drive all the way back here. I just wondered. I left disgusted with the don’t care attitude shown. Needless to say : always check everything thoroughly in carryout bags. No matter how long it takes.
