Do Not Eat Chinese Food at Hy Vee
I have shopped at Hy Vee for years. I have not eaten any Vee Chinese for quite some time. I decided to grab a quick lunch while waiting for a prescription to be filled. The Chinese food I received in some of the worst I have ever had anywhere. Kung Pao chicken with two small pieces of chicken—the rest was celery and carrots with maybe one other mystery ingredient. Mongolian beef that was of incredibly low quality. It tasted burnt and flavorless all at the same time. I attach a picture of the food that went into the trash.

I have been here dozens of times and usually have nothing to complain about but… do not order the mongolian beef, I had to quit eating it mid-way because the majority of the bowl was onions and sauce. There was barely any beef in it and was excessively oily.
Get the sushi and/or other options, those are great!
