Wood-Oven Gourmet Pizza. Our oven reaches intense temperatures up to 750 degrees, which insures our pizzas cook quickly, locking in freshness and flavor, while creating a soft yet crispy crust. Only well seasoned apple wood is selected from local orchards. Our one of a kind cheese blend is accented with a 12 month aged Asiago. Marinades pizza sauce is slow roasted and marinated fresh vegetables. We also offer a wide variety of Artisan soups, salads, sandwiches, and pastas.

No matter what pizza you chose they are all great, new to us, but had to go back for more, quint little place, the aroma of the wood oven is intoxicating, not at all smoky, but atmosphere and the slight smell of the fire and pizza was wonderful, we will be back, wait staff was outstanding.

A) I couldn’t believe how impatient people are- you can very well see how hard and fast this staff works and clearly see how long it takes to make a pizza.
B) they kept their cool the whole time! Here on a Friday night if you worked today keep up the wonderful work!

It smelled amazing when you walked in. Best pizza ever. They made a special order of the thin crust. Blues pizza! never thought of putting yellow peppers on pizza! Yum ! Mia was extremely helpful and making our choice!

My daughter (7) and I were on a daddy daughter date and I thought I would try this place out for the first time. I am happy we did.
We started out at the bar with some root beer on tap for her and a beer for me.
We watched the cheese bread and pizza be put into the wood fire and be rotated with attention.
My daughter filled up on the cheese bread. I ate my fair share too. The marinara was fantastic with larger than life chunks of garlic in it.
The pizza was delicious as well. Probably my favorite pizza I have had in Rockford or Belmont. It was well seasoned and the toppings were very high quality (we had sausage and bacon) I really liked the crust on the pizza. It was like garlic bread.
The service was prompt and friendly. The owner was tossing dough and answering all of my questions.
The setting was nice as well. It felt welcoming without being to kitschy. The smell of the wopd burning in the oven was lovely.

This is only a review of frustration of how they treated me the door dasher. In fact during my 52 minute experience waiting there all the in restaurant customers were given accurate times and seemed to enjoy themselves. The frustration is in the 52 minutes wasted by repeated “oh that order will be jusr a minute” not paraphrasing those were the words used 3 differenr times. A simple “oh we actually have alot of orders ahead of you its going to be at least 35 mins” like the other customers got would have been appreciated. Since its soneays to cancel the order do other orders and somebdoy else can come get it when its actually almost ready. I mean the pizza wasn’t even started until 20 mins intonsrrivignnlet alone in the oven saying just a minute is like come on you know its not even cloae to done. Than when it was finally ready knowing my frustration instead of handing me the order first the hostess took 2 phone calls ran a check and brought others take out boxes when it took 10 seconds to grab the boxes and hand them to me. Again this is only the view of a doordash driver who personally feels his time was disrespected but its fair to say as a customer not ordering delivery you may enjoy that you will be prioritized and see this as a positive review. Pizza did smell good I only hope in the future if they are going to partner with delivery places they respect that partnership and be more mindful of the fact drivers lose money waiting around and an honest upfront answer is more helpful. As a rockford local I may eventually give them a chance.

Got a 18 inch pepperoni, button and portobello mushroom pizza. The time was prompt, and the owner had a lot of love and passion for his craft. The pizza sauce was a little sweet for my liking, however overall the pizza was fantastic.
The price is good for the location, and I will definitely be coming back whenever I crave a good pizza and some wisdom in rockford.
I tend to be a bit of a talker, and the owner was patient, and had a lot of wisdom to share. I highly highly reccomend trying this place.

What delicious pizza! The crust was light, crispy, and soft in a unique way I haven’t experienced before. And the sauce on the mushroom pizza was so perfect, I could have eaten it on its own. A very well-made pizza that I won’t soon forget.
