This place is clean and vibrant, wait staff are super friendly. We ordered Best French Toast and Shrimp & grits, the dude at the front really explained all the ingredients in the food with a smile. The samples were really delicious and “forced” us to buy the Raspberry white chocolate bar 🙂 The only complaint I have about this place is that they have set the bar high for other restaurants! 🙂

I was in the area as part of my quest to visit all 100 counties in NC, and I’m so glad I took an early walk in downtown Canton while in Haywood County.
I had a nice browse of the local goods for sale and picked up the seasonal cookie (ocho) as well as a really big whoppie pie for later as well as some stickers that the lovely cashier helped me find.
I was there around 9am on 10-10-25, so shout-out to the staff at that time! Hope I can come back for a meal.

I had the hippy bowl with probably the best hummus I’ve ever tasted! Everything was very fresh. I also tried a locally made kombucha which was the perfect compliment to my lunch. While I waited I found some great gift ideas, local snacks, and quirky housewares in their market area. I’ll definitely be back to try their house made pastries soon!

Great little spot in downtown Canton. Servers were extremely nice and helpful. The food was amazing, tasted delicious, and came out quick. We also got some great pastries for the road that were delicious. If you’re looking for a cute little spot, with a hometown feel, and wonderful food, look no further. Avocado toast and breakfast bowl were great choices

They’re not kidding about their French Toast being “The Best”. House baked bread, soaked overnight – it is the way French Toast is supposed to be! Great casual spot with very, very good food!

This cafe/store is just adorable! They had a good variety of food that included breakfast, sandwiches, and salads with several healthy options. They also had bakery treats and smoothies. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was cute and cozy. I even bought a bar of shampoo.

Very much enjoyed our meal at Grateful Table. Wish I had taken pictures but it was gone too fast. The grilled cheese and tomato soup was incredibly delicious and only offer less in winter months. Sweet potato and quinoa bowl very good and hearty! Delish!

I have eaten at Grateful Table 3 times in the past week. We met friends there on a Friday. We took my daughter & son-in-law Saturday, then all 4 of us returned with my granddaughter yesterday. The food is extremely healthy, flavorful, & the prices are reasonable. Yummy sweet breads & cookies, too. We browsed the gift shop while the food was being prepared. Customer service was outstanding – just when I was thinking it was a thing of the past. I promise you won’t be disappointed!!!
