Ribs were awesome. Seriously, fall off the bone but not mushy. Cooked extremely well and great flavor. Chicken and brisket were good (note: I am massively biased towards my own brisket). The biscuits were tasty but could have used a bit more butter (we probably could have asked for more, but it was not a big deal). Potatoes and coleslaw were also amazing. My 6 year old devoured the bacon mac n cheese before anyone else could try it. It must be real good. $15 burnt ends were disappointing to myself, but my family enjoyed them. I found them dry and lacking a good smoke flavor.
We tried all three BBQ sauces and the hot mustard (hot but not crazy hot); the rootbeer sauce was the unanimous winner.
Service was quick and attentive, and we didn’t have to wait long for our platters.
Clean dining area, though the seating is a bit threadworn, and high! I like a more standard seating arrangement, but it sufficed.
If you are looking for the best bbq in the Calgary area, look no further.

Craving some brisket. Dropped into this place. Was greeted promptly and given a menu. The server was great answering questions about the menu. Ordered the brisket sandwich with a side of mac and cheese. Deliscious and filling. Atmosphere is perfect. Overall highly recommend this bar b que house to eat. 10 minutes off of the main highway. Well worth it.

The Good:
Honestly, MAYBE the best Brisket & Pulled pork I have ever had in my life. By themselves, flawless. 11/10.
I also really enjoyed all three types of barbeque sauces and mustard. But those three flavours and their retrospective enjoyment are going to be subject to each individual person’s taste.
Oh ya! The Ribs were delicious too!
The Bad.
I got charged for two Diet Coke refills. Maybe I’m just cheap. The Chicken was very flavourful but very Dry. Could have been an anomaly, as it did have a good taste.
Total Value:
Bill total was $175 including a %18 gratuity. I was thoroughly impressed and satisfied with the amount of food we received and the quality of it. The service was efficient and friendly.
I could’ve gotten a very satisfying and a large meal for a fraction of the cost if I was being more economical. But we ordered a lot. Hungry Man plates are an amazing value!
Will be back forsure!

I’d heard great things about this place and I wanted to see if it lived up to the hype! Definitely a place that’s best to come with many people so you can get a big platter and try a bit of everything! We got the San Antonio platter. The ribs were incredible, so flavourful and soft. The chicken was great but unfortunately the brisket was a bit dry. The sides were pretty decent. Didn’t love the biscuits but the potatoes were great. They have a good selection of beer as well.

There’s nothing special about it compared to the BBQ places right here in Calgary. It feels like all American BBQ tastes the same anyway; they all rely heavily on those external sauces for flavor. Friends wanted to stop for lunch – looked like a good BBQ spot! Will say the restaurant was pretty clean – other than that the food was incredibly dry (NO sauce on the pulled pork or brisket sandwich…) and 3 of our appetizers and sides came out grossly lukewarm or cold. Staff were friendly, but the price for subpar BBQ will deter me from recommending or returning to this joint. Also, huge gap in upstairs bathroom door that is rather awkward…

Checked out the location based on a recommendation and so glad we did. Away from the bustling Calgary- you can really enjoy outdoors as you sit in a well kept establishment and it’s grounds. Plenty of drink/cocktail choices and the food was great. Got the 5lb sandwich and it could feed at least 4-5 people and well worth it.
The spot gets busy after 1pm and a line was forming as we were leaving. They also sell meat and BBQ machines. A great place to hang out with family or host a small party
