In the middle of the Ross Bridge neighborhood, it’s convenient if you live there or close to there. There were only 4 tables total when we went for lunch and what looked like 1 server and 1 manager. The server was friendly and kept busy since she was handling the tables mostly on her own.

The chips were not thin like Chuy’s. The salsas were okay. We order the enchilada and the fish taco from the lunch menu. I didn’t like their enchilada at all. Ate less than half and tossed the rest. The rice was nothing special. The bean….was sour? I actually asked about it, and the server doesn’t know why it’s sour, but she assured me it’s not because it has gone bad. I wasn’t really reassured. The fish taco was decent, and likely we would order it again should we come back. However, whether we would go back is pretty debatable with all the better options in town.

Definitely not a place I’ll be returning to.

The chips were stale, and my order was completely wrong. I asked for a beef taco and tamales, but they brought out something else—and when I finally got the pork tamale, it was awful. The meat tasted like BBQ pulled pork, which didn’t belong in a tamale, and the breading was hard and dry.

Even the Coke was flat.

What bothered me most, though, was the kids’ menu. I ordered the chicken, rice, and queso for my one-year-old, and the queso turned out to be spicy. She took one bite and started screaming. I tried it myself and was shocked—it had a definite kick. There’s no reason something off the kids’ menu should have any spice at all.

Everyone in our party enjoyed each dish and the servers were friendly and attentive.
I especially enjoyed a bowl of their black bean soup, it was very flavorful!

La Paz Ross Bridge never disappoints. The Texas Margarita was just as good as my waitress said it would be. So good in fact, I had 2 large ones. The Gorda was so fresh and delicious. La Paz is my go to restaurant for Mexican food. I am so happy that this location is open close to home. You all should give them a try. Thanks again La Paz!

The food is not worth the visit if you don’t live around the corner. This has to be my 5th time ordering here, take out or dining in the food is always cold and not really tasty. Even the takeout queso is practically chilly. And I live literally around the corner. Sadly my hubby will probably make me eat this again.

An absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the warm, inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The decor is vibrant and stylish, perfectly blending traditional Mexican elements with a modern touch.

The food is nothing short of spectacular. Every dish we’ve tried was bursting with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. Their guacamole is fresh and creamy, the queso is irresistibly smooth, and the salsa has just the right kick. The tacos and enchiladas were packed with flavor, and the fajitas arrived sizzling with a generous portion of perfectly seasoned meats and vegetables.

The margaritas are a must-try—refreshing, well-balanced, and available in a variety of creative flavors. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure every guest feels cared for throughout their meal.

The outdoor seating area is another highlight, offering a relaxing space to enjoy your meal while soaking in the charm of Ross Bridge. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply craving exceptional Mexican cuisine, La Paz delivers on every level.

This restaurant has quickly become one of our favorite spots. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and visit La Paz—you won’t be disappointed!

Queso & overall dining was absolutely amazing however our customer service was not. Our server Rachel was not great with communication (explaining extra charges/menu items) nor just general hospitality. She acted as if she was annoyed by our presence, we could sense it the moment we asked for a cup or bowl of queso. Would highly recommend she gets the proper training as a former lead host/server your tips are based on the service provide.
