I’ve been coming here for years with friends, family and even by myself! The staff is always so welcoming and friendly and treats everyone who walks through the doors so kindly! The food is always delicious! I always go for a noodle dish but there’s so much to try on the menu! If you stop in, try the papaya Thai E-san salad or the crispy pork belly off the chef special menu!

Thai Zaap is my most ordered restaurant when I travel to MSY.
I always order by Uber eats, and the drink is closed to prevent tampering. My order notes are never missed! I love the option to order my thai iced tea without ice for a small charge. The price is comparable to other thai restaurants, but I seem to get more for my money with Thai Zaap Cafe!
Food *always* comes fresh and delicious. Spring rolls are always crispy. Chicken is never dried out like a lot of delivery orders from other restaurants.
I never wait to take a photo, because the food is so good that I eat it too fast!

Great place for some delicious Thai food! My “Drunken Noodles” (ordered it medium spicy) was so good. My wife’s
“Ginger Delight stir-fry” was da bomb! My sister’s “Pine Apple Curry” had an amazing flavor! And my first time trying Thai iced tea, now I am hook. The service was great. Highly recommend this place.

Hidden in a parking lot on Vets is some yummy Americanized Thai food! Try the pineapple fried rice combo.! Main complaint is that the fried rice portions are too small for the price, for 20 bucks you should get a large serving, but this is more medium small. The coconut soup is delicious, as is the chef’s special Golden fried soft-shell crabs. The mussels appetizer is a little underwhelming, but the calamari app is tasty, and the egg rolls are yummy. I am looking forward to trying other dishes on the menu.

We had a wonderful Sunday lunch there with family. From the appetizers to the entrees and then dessert EVERTHING we had was hot, fresh and delicious. We had some newcomers with us and they were totally impressed, as they are both chefs!! We are from Houma and will return again soon. The service is ALWAYS personable!! We love it and totally recommend it. Thank you for a great Sunday afternoon.

This is another one of those strip mall hidden gems. Came here after restaurant hopping and ordered their yellow curry. The place is not very busy for dine in- saw a few takeout orders, but we ate in anyway. The service here is AMAZING!!! Very attentive staff and kind. Their yellow curry was drop dead delicious and is a large enough portion to split between 2 people. It was my first time having it with potatoes, as the ones I’ve had in the past used a different recipe without them. This place has your typical Thai staples from fried rice, curry, and pad Thai and pick your level of heat. Their hottest spicy wasn’t exactly as spicy as most Thai, but the food is so good, it didn’t matter either way. While this place is a little on the pricier side with offerings at $12-$30 a pop, it is definitely worth a shot for the flavorful taste of Thai food. An added bonus is the water here actually tastes like it is filtered, unlike most places in Louisiana where the water tastes like toilet water and may be very unsafe to drink (No I don’t know what toilet water tastes like, but use your imagination, folks).

Good food with quick service. All of the recommendations given to me by the hostess were fantastic and now I’m interested in trying out other menu items. It looks like the stuff I ordered was all Thai street food items.I did a takeout order and I was out of there in under 15 minutes.
I really enjoy spicy food so everything was perfect.
Just a heads up, Don’t use the website to place an order. For whatever reason it sends the order to a location in Maryland and they always end up canceling the order. So just call your order in or do it in person.
Its a good strip mall restaurant that’s tucked away nicely. A good quiet spot with good food.

First and foremost – loved the staff. Great people
Food wise – I am def not a Thai expert but back in Oct my friend in DC was waiting for me with some AMAZING Thai food. So since then I’ve been craving some Thai… sooo today I ended up coming to Zaap Cafe and ordered a few things.
The food was a little on the sweet side for me, so I did end up adding spicy & my daughter added soy sauce.
Edamame 5 it was great.
Beef Pad Thai 3 it was a but on the sweet side for me.
Spring rolls 2 we didn’t love the Thai herbs.
Beef Thai Rice 3.5 it could have been fried a bit more for me. It was a tad sweet so I did go heavy with the spicy and my daughter went heavy with the soy sauce.
As I mentioned – I am not a Thai expert so if what I explained is to be expected the food in 5⭐️. For all this we paid over $50 which I find to be a bit on the expensive side.

I have been ordering from this place for years. Usually they are top tier. I do not know if there are new owners or a new cook but to say I was disappointed is an understatement. My 4 orders of pad Thai were barely seasoned. The 2 I ordered hot had a few shakes a red seasoning. My two soups were supposed to be Thai hot they weren’t even mild. The coconut soup was extremely watery with a layer of white on the top. My other soup tasted greasy. Both soups were over flowing with onions and barely anything else. Insult to injury I am home sick. This was the most disappointing experience. I tried to complain on uber but to no avail. I am so disappointed. If I am going to spend that much money on food it should be amazing.
