Orient cafe is usually consistent, good egg rolls, the best wonton soup, and most of the menu is really good. My favorites are chicken with string beans, chicken or shrimp fried rice, and orange chicken.
Although today we had, and I tried the orange beef, orange chicken (don’t mind the quantity, starting eating before I could take the pic ) and wonton soup.

Very polite customer service. Food Quality was lacking. Batter on shrimp tasted gritty like corn meal. Broccoli bland. On a positive note service was fast I came as soon as they opened 11am no wait. Ordered walnut shrimp. I eat this dish at other restaurants regularly. There are variations but this just wasn’t appetizing to me overall. It’s also listed as a new dish on their menu.

They give you free fried rice and they also have brown rice for an upcharge. The shrimp egg for young is slightly above average. You get three patties in your order. The general chicken tastes better than it looks. The chicken with broccoli the portion could have been about 10% more than what they actually put in the container they didn’t completely fill up the container. And I think the same with the general chicken too the portion size seems a little bit smaller like you would get from a Thai restaurant. The egg drop soup was probably the most disappointing of my dish. It was kind of bland. The gravy is thick but tastes like it has a little bit too much soy sauce in it.

We ordered take out for Christmas Eve while visiting my in-laws. Worst fried rice I’ve ever had – inedible. They also forgot to put the sauce on my sesame chicken, and I asked for extra lime on the side of the Pad Thai, but was given lemons.

Orient Cafe is under new management. I love all the updates they have made to the place; it feels welcoming. The food has also improved, and everything we ordered was delicious. Our server was friendly, and she gave us excellent service. We are returning soon to try the pho!

If I could give this place a negative review I would. Absolutely disgusting. Completely wrong order. Staff was rude when picking up. Wontons had absolutely piss poor filling. Panda Express even fills them more than this place. We ordered fried rice with our meals and got white rice, no problem..I’ll add my own eggs, own soy sauce, and my own vegetables. Crispy shrimp and walnuts was soggy and I believe they used sweet and sour sauce as their special sauce or whatever it’s called. The sweet and sour was runny and chunky and watered down. The only damn good thing was the prepackaged duck sauce. 10/10 will not be recommending this place to my friends.

I wish I could leave a better review, but my recent visit to Orient Cafe was downright disturbing. Found roach in my food. The server was extremely shocked and apologetic. The gentleman at the register was not remorseful at all, he made snarky sounds as I expressed my concern. Clearly, hygiene is not a priority here.

Ordered delivery, thinking I’d treat myself. This was definitely not a treat. I ordered the walnut shrimp which is my go to at most restaurants like this. I was extremely disappointed when I open the container and saw a red sauce coating the shrimp, I was even more disappointed when I took a bite and realized it was ketchup. Thankfully I ordered some other items but even when I took a bite of those I was disappointed. I wouldn’t even feed this to my dog. Needless to say I won’t be ordering or going to this restaurant in the future, and I’m sad spent $50 on food that no one in my house will eat.
