Original review from 2020: We stopped by for a quick lunch on our way through town after seeing the great reviews on Yelp. The food was excellent, as was the service. We were greeted warmly upon our arrival, with no wait. Our order was taken promptly and cooked by the owner, himself. I got the nachos supreme, which was way more than I could eat by myself. We all enjoyed our meals, which included a big bowl filled with homemade sopapillas. They were fantastic and the honey they were served with was the real deal. Don’t hesitate to stop by and enjoy a meal at Prescilliano’s. The building exterior was nothing to brag about, but the food and the service was. I sure wish we lived closer!
The gorditas are on point, and the Red and Green chili are some of the Best I’ve had in the entire state!! Get something Christmas style and you won’t regret it!!
10/10 recommend if you are stopping through, or just hungry for some authentic New Mexican food
The menu at this restaurant is misleading at best, and when I brought it up to my server, all she had to say was that “this is a New Mexican restaurant” and “he’s been making it that way for years.” Horrible excuse for distributing a misleading menu, because I have been to many New Mexican restaurants, where items that they say are bean dishes contain, in fact, only beans, and when there is pork (or beef, or whatever) in the chile sauce, it is noted. To use this being a New Mexican restaurant as the “reason” for saying a bean dish when it’s really a bean, pork, and beef dish is a disgrace to New Mexico in general, because all that does is misinform your customers, and had they just been honest with me, I wouldn’t have wasted my time here. I told them to indicate on the menu that even the bean dishes contain meat, but they didn’t seem like they would, so that is where the ultimate disappointment lies, not necessarily in the fact that everything on the menu has meat in it (even though that is also extremely disappointing).
