The young man at the counter was awesome. He cared about getting my food from the back it was being prepared and was sure that the other stayed under the heaters while we waited.

My friend wanted me to try this burger joint and the trip was okay. I was treated to a burger combo with onions rings which were pleasantly crunchy. The beef was tasty, but the bread wasn’t anything to brag about as you can see. There’s plenty of seating there and parking space so no fuss.
Also, while there, a just fired employee alerted the customers of unsanitary food handling that has been going on in the back. This may be a place to try and move on.

If you are looking for food that is simple, yet it will knock you socks off this is. Not the place. I’ve heard a lot of great things about varsity and honestly I do not see the hype. The food overall was basically cafeteria food or food you would get at a high school baseball park. The frosted orange tasted like orange flavored Ice crystals, the fries were not salted and undercooked. I will say the hamburgers with bacon and hotdog with chili and coleslaw was not bad. The chili was the the main winner in this place. To each their own but if you want to try something different , affordable, with a nostalgic flair check it out.

This is not the orginal Varsity but a part of the chain. Has the same feel and design as the orginal. Classic white inside and Varsity decorations. Plenty of outdoor seating and parking

The menu is the same. Classic hotdogs and burgers. Fries are plentiful. Service is fast and friendly.

I know many who eat here and think it is great. For me the food is alright but not great. Food was well cooked and a nice proportion. My bun was small amd the burger was fine but nothing outstanding.
Prices are reasonable.
Restaurant was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly

“What’ll have” takes on a whole new meaning when eating at The Varsity. The hot dogs “walked” or regular is my favorite go to meal. Of course, I can’t forget the orange shake to seal the deal. If you are in the ATL and don’t eat here, then you’ve cheated yourself of the full ATL experience.

Sorry, it was my first time here, and unfortunately I was disappointed. The onion rings were too greasy, the hot dog was acceptable, but the fries were burned.
