Okay, where do I begin? We had reservations for lunch on Valentine’s Day and when we were seated initially, we were placed at a table right beside the entrance, not cool. The table was so wobbly that we were afraid our waters would topple over onto us and we certainly couldn’t lean on the table in the slightest.. Bread and butter (delicious) and Caesar salads came out. The salad was yellow and wilted, not fresh tasting, not good…after that a manager seemed to notice we were uncomfortable and approached us. We were then seated at a table where we could touch the people next to us if we extended our elbows far enough.…our veal ravioli came an it was okay, but I decided to ask if it was made in-house (which I could tell it was not).. the server assured me they were homemade and so I reiterated, “They make the pasta here? The filling, the sauce?” He went to go “make sure” and came back to inform us that the raviolis are sourced “elsewhere” (meaning frozen) and they make the sauce at the restaurant. Quite expensive to be frozen and sourced elsewhere. My husband went to the bathroom and told me that it was absolutely disgusting. Urine overflowed the urinal because it couldn’t flush. Our first round of filets were dry and well done, so of course we sent it back because we ordered medium rare. Took a while to get them back to the table and this time they came out cold and blue. My husband reluctantly ate his because he was so hungry and didn’t want to wait any longer. I sent mine back because it was raw and had a disgusting stringy tendon throughout half of it that I couldn’t even get a knife through. I was informed that they cut their filets in house so it wasn’t uncommon to get some fat in the filet, to which I pointed out that the stringy tendon was indeed not fat. Took a while longer and so I ate my lobster tail which was great, and picked at some bland and watery mashed potatoes and asparagus (cooked properly).. by the time I got my filet for the third time I asked for a Togo box, as well as our dessert to go. Our parking meter was out and the last thing we wanted was to get towed. Two and a half hours here and this was what we experienced. Next to us there was a folded up napkin wedged under one side of the table because that apparently was wobbly as well. The couple behind us was having a tough time getting their steak properly cooked as well. Overall, crappy. The price far exceeds the standard of the restaurant which is upsetting. I would expect a wonderful meal with a two hundred dollar meal. We will not be going back.

An absolutely beautiful experience dining at Ruth’s Chris. The service was impeccable and our waitress, Yasmin was an absolute delight.
My wife was an Italian chef back in the ‘80’s after learning to cook Italian from my mother. So I have to the the Ravioli was the best I have ever tasted. We also opted for the fried calamari, which was perfection. The tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection and delicious .
We will definitely be back and share this experience with our son too.

The ambiance was exactly what you’d hope for in a well known and highly regarded steak house in Savannah. A touch of elegance with a welcoming feel. The staff was joyful and served us with gratitude on Thanksgiving night. The plates were very well served, and that pumpkin cheesecake was to die for!!! We definitely want to go back for steaks as that is what they are known for.

We have eaten here several times at the bar. Always a Fun time. We celebrated my birthday here this year at the restaurant. It was an Awesome Food Experience. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our server, Mary Alexis did a Fantastic job keeping us happy and not needing anything. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We visited this Ruth’s Chris location last night and chose to sit in the lounge area. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. There were an alarming number of FRUIT FLIES flying around, to the point where the server provided napkins for us to cover our wine glasses. This made it difficult to relax and enjoy the meal. The sheer amount of fruit flies gave the impression of a lack of cleanliness, which is not something I would ever expect at a fine dining restaurant. I’ve never experienced this even at more casual or lower-priced restaurants. Very unacceptable.
The food was also underwhelming. I ordered the crab cakes, which were extremely wet inside and seemed undercooked. I managed to eat one on-site but ended up taking the rest home to try reheating in the air fryer in hopes of improving the taste. A T-bone steak was also ordered at our table, and while my guest did enjoy that entrée, overall the experience fell short of expectations.
On a positive note, our waiter was very nice and informative, which we truly appreciated. However, for the reputation and price point of Ruth’s Chris, I expected much better—both in food quality and the overall dining environment.

Our waitress was Mary Alexis. She was fanatic. Very personable and made fantastic recommendations. I hope she is our waitress for the next visit as well. Food was delicious. Slightly expensive but you’re not at McDonald’s.

We went here for our 2 year wedding anniversary and everything was amazing from the second we walked into the door. Our waiter (I believe his name was Tucker but I’m also really bad with name) went above and beyond to make us feel special. 100/10 recommend going here if you want great steaks with great service. The lobster bisque was also amazing!

Beautiful holiday decor! Service was amazing…food was good except steaks not cooked to order, we shouldn’t have to send back a $58 steak? And they just threw it on the grill and returned the same cut up meat which I thought odd! Only took pictures of the appetizers! Very pricy!
