I have been living in Clayton for almost two months, I will say being from NY I know good Chinese food so I must say i do like the way it taste but every time I go I have an issue with the wings, whoever is their wing vendor they should switch because every time I get wings from them I have issues with broken, beat up, sometimes dry blood over the wings it’s horrible so the past few visits I always ask for they to please give me good wings they always assure me they will make sure that doesn’t happen again, I refuse to trust these people with what I decide to put in my stomach they just don’t care and i promise me and my family won’t be back because this is getting ridiculous I literally almost choked on the broken bone… Get better wings other than that I actually like them but I just can’t continue to support a place that only sell bad wings which leads me to think what else is really going on in they kitchen the health inspection rating isn’t the greatest so I’m done

One piece of advice, don’t get delivery. Pick up only and show up 5 minutes before your projected “order ready” time.
There are dishes that they do up right and then some that could use some R&D.
1. Sesame Chicken = great!
2. Egg Foo Yung = great!
3. Sweet & Sour chicken = as expected
4. Moo shu pork or chicken = the moo shu is good, but the pancakes are shit! I use tortillas from LA Bonita
5. Beef with garlic sauce = awesome!
6. Fried rice = don’t waste your money
7. Dragon & Phoenix = good
8. Shrimp with cashew = great!
9. Wonton soup = don’t even
10. Hot & sour soup = good
11. Shrimp & scallop in pepper sauce = very few scallops, and it would be sooooooo much better with sautéed shrimp. The breaded and fried shrimp in the dish are just mushy and gross.
Lastly…could we get an option to NOT put a bazillion packets of sauce in the bag?!?!

Awesome food here! Definitely really good and worth giving a try. I recommend the general tso’s chicken and pork fried rice. The service was excellent as well, very friendly and fast. We will definitely be returning sometime soon!

I’m a local and so glad a Chinese takeout place like this is around. We get general tsos chicken, sweet and sour chicken, steamed dumplings and crab Rangoon and I really think it’s better than most places I’ve ever had. The tso sauce is delicious and the chicken is always crunchy with a delicious texture.

I lived in Clayton for over 15 years and this has been the best
Chinese food I have had in the area. The food was
always prepared fresh and I generally had no issues.
However as with any Chinese carry-out NEVER order
food when the restaurant is closing soon because I
can almost guarantee you will not get freshness.
These places tend to shut down prior to closing
and after closing the lights go out quick. So do
yourself a favor and keep ‘time’ in mind and enjoy!

Was excited to try this place because I have heard it is good value Chinese food but the food was disgusting. I ordered the chicken and broccoli. The chicken tasted undercooked and old. It was slimy which resulted in me not wanting to eat it anymore. The inside you are not allowed into. It is dark and there is trash everywhere. I am only writing this review because I feel money was stolen from me due to the food being inedible.

I’ve been eating here for years despite the mediocre reviews. Today’s meal made me SICK. I won’t be eating here again.

We’ve been eating here since we moved to Clayton three years ago, and for a long time this was a solid 5-star spot for us. Unfortunately, over the past few months the quality of the food has drastically gone downhill. I’m not sure if there’s been a change in the kitchen, but the food has become bland and mediocre at best.
We used to order from here at least once a week, but now it’s no longer even a consideration for takeout. At one point, this was easily one of the best Chinese restaurants within a 30-mile radius. I truly hope they can return to the quality they once had.
