I was not impressed by the food here at all. The meat was incredibly fatty. And not the good kind of fatty that renders. The portions are incredibly small. I dont even think the serving size totaled a 12 Oz steak. My wife and I who usually share 1 entree and have leftovers both left feeling hungry.
That said the waiters were super friendly. The vibe is super trendy. It just wasnt worth $100 for 2 people.

New restaurant in town, of course WE had to try. The service was and is probably the ONLY reason I would go back. The food was not my favorite but it wasn’t a complete disappointment. Our misso soup was nothing like others we had before,it was flavorless and no mushrooms. At least our batch. We ordered the dinner for four which honestly was more than enough for three adults and a teenager. There’s things I would probably switch around if we go again, like the noodles and house salad were a big NO for me. Other than that food was good. Our server was beyond attentive and at the end he asked if we were military and gave us a discount. So don’t forget to ask for military, I believe other professions as well, can’t remember which ones tho. Price wise it’s reasonably priced for the amount of food offered.

Amazing Japanese BBQ experience. We ordered the Meat Variety set, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and high quality. The selection of meats was perfect for trying a little bit of everything, and grilling it yourself made it even more fun. The starters paired well with the BBQ, and the portions were filling. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and definitely worth it if you enjoy Japanese yakiniku.

By far the best service in El Paso. We’ve gone to 1700, Cafe Central, Casa Pantera, etc and this place beats it.
The food is also excellent, I did not even have to use sauce.
If it’s your first time, I highly recommend you to get the course and not to get à la cart. This way you get the full experience. They do a great job paring the food.
Just make sure that the burner doesn’t turn off. Sometimes it will turn on.
Hope you love as much as we did, we will be coming back.

We came here for Thanksgiving and it was amazing. Great food and service. Music also not too loud. Will recommend. Damian was also a fantastic server. All staff interactions were great.

This place was fabulous! Jeremiah was very wonderful, friendly, attentive, and very willing to answer any questions about the menu we had (which can be quite overwhelming for first timers like us). He explained how to cook each meat and what each item was, and his service was very fast and personable. The food was wonderful and totally worth it. Everyone at the restaurant was wonderful, they even ran out to my car when i left my jewelry on the table! I will be recommending this establishment in the future!

I recently tried Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ and honestly left feeling disappointed. The food tasted good, but the portions were surprisingly small for the price. For a place that markets itself as a fun dining experience, it felt more like we were paying premium prices for sampler-sized servings.
The atmosphere was fine and the concept is great, but when you walk out feeling like you overpaid and still could eat more, something’s off. I expected better value, especially with how much the meal cost.
Overall, it wasn’t terrible — but it definitely didn’t live up to the price tag. I wouldn’t rush back based on this experience.
This place is not an all you can eat bbq they present the same, but they are not the same. If you are hungry, this is NOT the place just go to a steakhouse or a KBBQ . ask questions before you order anything. Multiple servers said we’re not the only ones to feel finessed. Do your own research before ordering anything.

Very satisfied! Service was excellent, food was delicious, It’s different from any other restaurant in the area. A little pricey but worth every penny. Overall I loved it. Really recommend.

What a great staff, super on top of refills, the pacing of the meal was excellent, food was delicious, and if you weren’t super knowledgeable on how to cook the food, they were great at letting you know exactly how to cook it. A little expensive, but super worth it if you’re going out to a birthday party with a small group of friends.
