Lake Geneva, WI, Dunkin Donuts- I’ve been to this Dunkin’ multiple times on Saturday mornings, and the service is consistently slow and disorganized. Despite having six to seven employees on the floor, orders take far longer than they should.
From a process standpoint, there’s no clear role assignment. The cashier takes an order and then leaves the register to retrieve items, while customers stack up behind them. Meanwhile, other employees appear idle or are moving around without clear direction. This creates bottlenecks and confusion that shouldn’t exist with this many staff members on duty.
On my most recent visit, I waited nearly 10 minutes for a simple cup of coffee—only to realize my order had been forgotten entirely. It was obvious it fell off the radar, which speaks to a lack of organization, not a lack of effort.
This location needs stronger management and clearer workflow: designated roles, better order tracking, and a system that matches staffing levels to customer volume. With the number of employees present, this location should be able to operate efficiently. Right now, it doesn’t.
I hope management takes a serious look at their processes, because this seems to be a recurring issue—not just for me, but for many customers, including those using the drive-thru.

I always enjoy the drinks and the service was excellent in the drive thru. I had asked for no egg on my breakfast sandwich due to an allergy and the drive thru employee marked that however when I got the sandwich the no egg request must have been decided as optional to the employee. I was unable to eat the sandwich. I attempted to take the egg off and take a few bites and had a reaction. It’s very frustrating to spend money on an item and have to throw it away due to requests not being followed. This is the second time now.

The experience was so bad it’s almost laughable.
The girl at the register had no idea what was on the menu board behind her, she only seemed to know they offered a “Blueberry Breeze”. Tried ordering 2 different berry drinks and she kept saying that was the only one they had, despite others being on the menu behind her. Ordered 2 large drinks, got 2 medium
The gentleman who made them apologized and replaced the Banana Pudding Espresso with the appropriate size quickly, but 2 out of 2 drinks were made incorrectly, and one was the wrong drink.
That’s a 100% failure rate for something that is very simple.
Will not be returning here again, zero excuse for failing that bad.

Terrible . Honestly I know its just this location because my dunkin is amazing but im so turned off by my whole experience its gonna take me alot to ever go back , I ordered thru the app, go to pick it up in the drive thru . Get stuck in the drive thru for 20 mins I can not get out . Get to the speaker tell them my name , oh ok we got you wait another 20 mins from speaker to window. Get to window and am told to pull to a spot so they can just now start my order . Absolutely terrible ! No “fast food” breakfast place is worth sitting currently 48 mins and counting . Ridiculous! Get it together.

Heading back to Chicago we stopped in for a quick bite. The cashier was very sweet and although she looked new and took a few to get our order straight in the system she was very apolegetic and because of her sweetness I told her to take her time. I love the boston creme by the way its one of my favorite donuts. They also got my french vanilla hot extra cream extra sugar coffee on point. Such a big eat in area upstairs. Very comfortable and they actually have a patio. Definitely will be back when I visit Lake Geneva during the summer.

I really wanted to like this Dunkin because it’s close and convenient, but they consistently miss the mark. They struggle with even the simplest orders, and it’s become a pattern every time I stop by. On the few occasions I’ve gone inside, the staff looked completely overwhelmed and frazzled. It feels like they’re trying, but they clearly need better training and support. I hope management steps in soon, because this location has potential, it just needs some serious improvement.

Waited 40 minutes in the drive thru just for them to tell me they were out of everything I had tried to order, bacon egg and cheese bagel, avocado toast and strawberry dragonfruit refresher. I ended up ordering just a donut because of all the time I had just wasted sitting there. The young blonde girl was very nice and had apologized for me waiting so long. She seemed to be the only one working in the store. This place needs more staff and better management. If you are out of certain things you shouldn’t be open then with only one person working. Would rather go to Richmond

It seems that when you place an order here, most employees don’t listen well. I only ever order the Sausage Wake-Up Wraps, or really anything with sausage, because I’m not a fan of bacon.
When you try to customize an order (like adding a sauce, or for example, asking for sausage instead of bacon), they consistently get it wrong.
The coffee is normally okay, which is why I still show up. However, when it comes to food, they are terrible at both order accuracy and quality control.

Coming from someone who works and runs a Dunkin and knowing the rules! Can’t get the muchkins you want thru the drive thru, only inside

If I could give a 0 star review I would. This is the one place on earth that I HATE the most! The workers suck, terrible customer service. The people are so slow, I’ve gone here a handful of times and am always in line no joke for like 20 minutes. Today was my last straw…I’m in line for you guessed it 20 minutes and they made my drink wrong and gave me the wrong doughnut. Are these people even being trained? How is this Dunkin’ even open? Please do us all the favor and close down. I HATE you Dunkin’!
